Sinn Fein’s most senior spin doctor in Northern Ireland did not warn a charity
that the man he was recommending for a job was facing paedophile charges, the
charity has confirmed.
The British Heart Foundation (BHF) said that Seán Mag Uidhir, Sinn Fein’s
longstanding chief press officer, did not alert it to the fact that his
recently-departed colleague Michael McMonagle was being investigated by police
for what he now admits was sexual activity with children.
