INTRODUCTION

 * Holiday season hits Chaldea with the Christmas 2023 Event, complete with an
   Event Shop and an unlimited Lottery! Masters can take this opportunity to get
   Skill Gems, QP, Friend Points, Mana Prisms, EXP, and choice ascension
   materials at great AP return for a limited time!
 * Note this event ends on 12/15/2023 19:59 PST! This event is shorter than
   usual, lasting only about a week. Masters should make sure that they finish
   the event in time!
 * Completing all Main Quests and clearing 5 Lottery boxes will award a copy of
   the Welfare Servant, Saint Martha (Santa)!
 * This event is primarily time gated, with a new Main Quest chapter unlocking
   each day (final on the 6th day) and Free Quests unlocking each day as well
   after the Main Quest of the day is completed.
 * The event also has special "Cooking Quests" that cost event shop + lottery
   prize currencies to attempt, which award a handsome amount of event shop
   materials on completion, along with limited Command Codes and the Servant
   Coins for the welfare Servant! These are worth attempting if resources allow,
   although are entirely optional.
 * There are three event currencies (), whose rates are boosted by event gacha
   CEs ().
 * The Event Shop CE () boosts drops for the Lottery currency (), which should
   be prioritized especially after desired shop items are already cleared.
 * Event Bonus Servants will gain bonus Damage and Bond EXP during event quests!
 * The Main Quest unlock schedule is below:

GENERAL TIPS

 * Purchase copies of from the Event Shop and equip them ASAP to help speed up
   lottery currency farming!
 * Be careful not to MLB too early (5 copies gives a total of +5 drops, while a
   single MLB copy only gives +2 drops). It's better to wait to limit break the
   shop CE until 8+ copies are available.
 * Event Bonus Servants will gain a Damage and Bond EXP bonus during the event!
   Bringing Event Bonus Servants can help make farming easier.
 * Event Bonus CEs will grant various bonuses. The event shop CE provides a
   boost to Lottery Currency drops. All Gacha CEs provide a boost to drops for
   Event Shop currencies.


Walkthrough TL;DR

The below is a summary of the general flow of the event. Generally, Main Quests
are time gated and unlock on a daily basis. The detailed walkthrough provides
information about CE suggestions, drops, enemy encounters and gimmicks for each
quest.

The overall flow is Main Quests > Free Quests to farm shop/lottery currency >
Cooking Quests when currency is available > repeat, with time gates between
individual Main Quest chapters.


WALKTHROUGH (DAY 1):

1) Complete Main Quests available, up to end of Section 2.

2) Clear Free Quests available. Note the "Ice Cream" difficulty Free Quest can
be saved for later (requires Cider from lottery boxes, which might want to be
saved for copies of Saint Martha (Santa) first).
Also purchase Event Shop CE & equip to boost lottery currency drops!

3) Clear Cooking Quest I when materials are available. (Make sure to open
Lottery boxes to get enough Cider)

4) Complete Main Quest Section 3.

5) Clear Free Quests to farm shop and lottery currency.

6) Clear Cooking Quest II when materials are available.

7) Complete Main Quest Section 4

8) Clear Free Quests to farm shop and lottery currency.

10) Complete Main Quest Section 5

x1) Cooking Quests are one-time quests that cost shop/lottery reward currency to
attempt.
They drop a generous amount of shop currency and also award limited rewards such
as Servant Coins and Command Codes, and are worth clearing.
However, if short on time and just aiming for the welfare (and not caring about
maxing out their Servant Coins), these are entirely optional.

An Avenger (67k) and Foreigner (83k HP).
The Foreigner starts with a 5-hit unremovable Evade buff.

Drops 2 stacks bronze currency.
Story: ~4min read

(5) Run once for Summon Ticket reward.
Avoid farming this node since it costs 5x Ciders, which essentially is worth
2.5M QP, making it not worth farming past the first clear reward.
Although this unlocks on the first day, since it costs 5x Ciders (which come
from Lottery boxes), Masters can choose to save this for later.
The last day's part of the walkthrough will have a reminder to do this quest.

Since the currently available Free Quests have poor AP efficiency, they aren't
the best farming areas.

Challenge
(5 AP) Note the Challenge Quest will unlock after the Main Quest is completed.
This encounter has three waves each with their own special gimmicks.
Wave 1: Berserker (201k), Rider (53k), and Archer (194k HP).
The Rider starts with 80% Damage Resist. Attack the Rider between 15-24 times
before it dies to roast it to perfection; killing it early will penalize the
party with 3-turn skill seal and an NP demerit. Succeeding gives permanent
Buster buffs to the party.
Wave 2: Assassin (248k), Berserker (108k), and Caster (242k HP).
Defeat the Berserker within 4 turns to get the most benefits (Arts + Quick
permanent buffs).
Wave 3: Break bar Saber (362k, 390k HP).
The boss starts with two stacks of 25% damage resist, which get removed for each
wave correctly dealt with before.
On break: Boss buffs own card performance permanently.

Challenge
(5 AP) Note the Challenge Quest will unlock after the Main Quest is completed.
A single wave with a break bar Caster (417k, 460k HP), Rider (646k HP), and
break bar Berserker (669k, 803k HP).
Attacking either the Caster or Rider will give the attacker the "Naughty Child"
trait for 2 turns, which gives them bonus damage against Oni trait (the
Berserker is an Oni).

The Caster has perma 50% damage resist against "Naughty Children", and randomly
restores HP/charges NP Gauge/provides Stars to party members without the
"Naughty Child" trait each turn.
The Rider charges all enemies' NP each turn (except their own) and permanently
decreases the enemy's NP damage by 50%. Every turn, the Rider also will add
"Naughty Child" to any Evil alignment Servant party members in the front line
for 3 turns.
The Berserker starts with 50% damage resist, and will drain 50% Gauge from any
"Naughty Child" enemies.

On Caster break: Increase NP Bar to MAX for all enemies and increase NP gauge by
50% for all party members.
On Berserker break: Gains 30% Special ATK vs "Naughty Children".

Event Completed Congratulations! All Main Quests are completed! Masters can
continue farming to clear the Event Shop and clear Lottery Boxes! By the time 5
Lottery Boxes are cleared, it should be possible to Max Ascend and NP5 the
welfare, Saint Martha (Santa)! Check out the Quick Farming Guide for details on

SHOULD I USE APPLES?

 * Yes, this is a rare unlimited lottery event, which makes it one of the most
   AP effective times to farm for Skill Gems, QP, FP, Mana Prisms, EXP, and
   certain Ascension Materials!

 * Natural Regen AP will be approximately 2540 AP throughout the event.
 * Clearing the full Main Quest line and farming enough currency to open 5
   lottery boxes for NP5 / Max Ascension Santa Martha requires about 1805 AP.
 * For clearing the Event Shop (no monuments, EXP, or 3* Fous - since these
   would be cleared either way), this will take approximately 3770 AP. At least
   5 lottery boxes should clear as well.
 * For clearing the Event Shop (no monuments, with EXP and 3* Fous), this will
   take approximately 3970 AP.
 * For a full Event Shop clear including monuments, this total reaches 5250 AP
   to clear everything. The lottery box should easily clear all 10 grand prizes
   as well.
 * The amount of AP required can be reduced with more copies of Event CEs.
   Additional copies of 4* or 5* CEs must be obtained in the gacha, while 3* CEs
   can be obtained in the Friend Point Gacha (at a low rate).
 * Assumptions for the above AP costs (uses "first timer worst case scenario
   with no Friend Point Gacha luck", AP reduced if more bonus available):
    * Up to +1 : Non-MLB Friend Support .
    * Up to +1 : Non-MLB Friend Support .
    * Up to +2 : Quest Reward Copy of + Non-MLB Friend Support .
    * Up to +4 : 4x Event Shop Copies of
