Mobile testing service

WHAT IS THE MOBILE TESTING SERVICE?

The mobile testing service involves setting up a temporary test centre in a
location or work site of your choosing anywhere in the UK, including Northern
Ireland.

This service can be more beneficial for you and your workforce as:

 * it saves on your workers' time and travel costs as they will not have to
travel to a fixed test centre
 * you can pick a test date and time to suit you and your workers
 * The cost of taking the HS&E test using the Mobile Testing Service is from
   £31.50 per candidate

If you have ongoing testing needs, you can request a semi-permanent test centre
(a portable cabin) to be set up on-site.

BOOKING THE MOBILE TESTING SERVICE

 1. Before you book the service, read and fully understand the Mobile testing
    terms and conditions (PDF, 489KB).
 2. Register to use the Pearson secure file transfer portal (External link -
Opens in a new tab or window), as you will need to submit your booking using
    this portal.
    * Read the Mobile testing and group secure email user guide on register and
      use the portal.
 3. You then need to fill in the booking request form, making sure you:
    * fill in when and where you want the service, and also your preferred
      delivery method
    * give the name of the candidate(s) taking the test - make sure the names
are exactly as shown on the ID that they will have to bring with them to
      the test
    * give the CITB credit account number if you have one
    * indicate your preferred payment method in the covering email - if you're
not using a credit or debit card to pay for the service, we will arrange a
      call-back to take payment
    * fill in the form completely, otherwise your booking will be rejected and
you will have to start all over again.
 4. After you've submitted the form and paid for the service, you will receive
confirmation for your booking by secure email.
    * We ask for payment at least 10 days before the test date.
    * Payment must have cleared into our bank account at least 6 working days
before the test date before we send a booking confirmation.

Candidate(s) who will be taking the test will receive a confirmation
email/letter confirming their test slot. If you have asked your candidate(s) be
reminded of their test slot, they will receive an email or text message 24 hours
before the date.

CHANGING THE CANDIDATE LIST

If you need to change who will be taking the test, you must do this at least 6
working days before the test date. We cannot make any changes to the list after
this period.
