The Nairobi office, which serves as the regional coordinating office, is hiring an Project Administrator to support business development services. Academic/Professional qualifications and Experience: * Diploma in Business Administration. * At least 6 years working experience, with 2 years exposure in proposal support. * Diploma in Project Management and/or University degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage Personal attributes: * Good communication (written and verbal), numeracy, presentation and analytical skills. * IT proficiency, especially Microsoft Office. * An eye for detail. * Team player * Excellent coordination and planning skills RESPONSIBILITIES * Proposal coordination and support: assist in opportunity identification, tracking and pipeline management. Manage and coordinate proposals and leads on improvements to business development processes; * Market Intelligence: undertaking market research to provide an understanding of the market and inform competitive positioning; * Through on the job coaching and personal initiative, be conversant with different types of proposal requirements such as major donors, Government/Public sector, among others; * Uploading opportunities in ERP, initiating and preparation of risk management processes; * Provide administrative support services to Audit Partners, Associate Directors, Senior Managers and Managers while managing their busy schedules. * Provide administrative assistance on client engagements. * Proactively participate in firm-wide activities and build relationships with people from other business units; * OrganisingBusiness Units events internally and externally. * Prepare weekly and monthly business reports and minutes for department meetings. * Assist in any other matters incidental to Business Unit management as may be requested from time to time by the Performance Manager/Supervisor.
