BODY LICE MAY HAVE SPREAD THE BLACK DEATH MORE THAN PREVIOUSLY THOUGHT

A new laboratory study suggests that human body lice are more efficient at
transmitting Yersinia pestis, the bacterium that causes plague, than previously
