Description:

 This position is within the Gross Margin Team in San Jose.  In addition to
various product performance reporting activities, the individual will partner
with various groups, internal and external to Finance, to support insightful
analysis on product cost trends

 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 
•    Publish product focus financial reports and Adhoc analysis for CFO & senior
Finance Managements during month & quarter end close
•    Responsible for monthly GM commentary on selective product line sales,
margin, variances, reserves and other period cost components
•    Work cross functionally with Product Planning Team, Global Operations Team
& Ops Finance Team to develop & maintain product cost models and periodically
run cost models using that latest input from roadmap owners 
•    Produce monthly material spending / savings report for Finance and Global
Operations Managements
•    Perform Misc. COGS & Vendor Fee Recons
•    Identify margin improvement opportunities to enhance corporate bottom line
•    Plan, test, and engage in process & system improvement projects

 



Requirements:
•    BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting
•    Minimum 3 years in Finance or Accounting role
•    Strong problem solving & analysis, business acumen, teamwork and
communication skills are expected 
•    Experience in the Semiconductor industry is preferred
•    Having knowledge on Xilinx products is a plus
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & its analytical toolkits and Tableau is a
must
•    Hands on experience on Oracle, 3C ImpactECS, or SAP is highly desirable
