LET’S DO SOMETHING
ABOUT LONG COVID.

WE ARE STUDYING AN INVESTIGATIONAL
DRUG TO TREAT SYMPTOMS OF LONG
COVID • NO COST TO PARTICIPATE

What is Long COVID?

Most people who contract COVID-19 recover completely within a few weeks. But
some people - even those who weren’t very sick in the first place - continue to
experience lingering health problems several months after their initial
recovery. These people are referred to as “long-haulers” and the condition is
commonly referred to as “Long COVID.” Common long-lasting COVID symptoms
include:

 * Fatigue
 * Joint pain
 * Chest pain
 * Muscle pain
 * Cough
 * Shortness of breath

 * Difficulty concentrating
 * Sleep problems
 * Headache
 * Rapid heartbeat
 * Recurring fever
 * Depression or anxiety

People of all ages and previous levels of health and fitness can develop Long
COVID. In fact, it is estimated that approximately 30% of people who have
COVID-19 get Long COVID. While the exact cause of Long COVID is unknown, doctors
and researchers are studying new ways to potentially reduce Long COVID symptoms
and improve quality of life.

About the study

About the Study

Right now, doctors at select locations throughout the U.S. are conducting a new
phase 2 clinical study for people with Long COVID. The study is for an
investigational drug that may help improve Long COVID symptoms when taken once
nightly at bedtime for 14 weeks.

Who can participate? Adults 18 - 65 years old who are experiencing lingering
COVID symptoms for more than 3 months after their initial infection.

Where? The study will enroll up to 470 adults at approximately 30 study
locations throughout the U.S.

When? Now - the study is actively enrolling new participants.

How long does the study last? If you join the study, your participation will
last about 6 months. During this time, you will be asked to meet with your local
study doctor up to 6 times (about once a month) to provide feedback about your
experiences. You will also have two telephone follow-up visits after you
complete the study treatment. You will be compensated for your time and travel
to attend these visits.

Has the study drug been tested on humans before? Yes. Several Phase 3 studies
have been conducted with this study drug.

Will I have to pay for anything if I join the study? No, if you qualify and
choose to join the study, you will receive all study-related care at no cost to
you. This includes the study drug, as well as any visits to your study doctor’s
office. Health insurance is NOT required to participate.

SEE IF YOU QUALIFY

See If You Qualify

If you are 18 - 65 years old and are experiencing lingering COVID symptoms more
than 3 months after your initial infection, you may be eligible to participate
in a new clinical research study. The study is for an investigational drug that
may help improve long COVID symptoms when taken once nightly at bedtime for 14
weeks. To see if you might qualify, and to connect with a local study center to
learn more, please take the questionnaire below.
