Unparalleled Astringency Reduction A key feature of our HIGH MEMBRANE espresso filter for filtered coffe is its ability to reduce astringency. By effectively capturing suspended astringent compounds, this filter mitigates bitterness and astringency, resulting in a more refined and consistent coffee taste. Enhance your daily coffee ritual with the high-performance filters that bring out the best in your espresso. Experience the fullest potential with SIBARIST Espresso Filter SIBARIST ESPRESSO Filters offer a refined solution for enhancing the filtered coffee experience on espresso machines. The SIBARIST ESPRESSO Filters meticulously designed filters provide a consistent extraction process, improved puck yield, and enhanced cup clarity, all contributing to a more superior coffee result. HOW TO FIND THE RIGHT SIZE FOR YOUR ESPRESSO PORTAFILTER? The SIBARIST ESPRESSO filters have a different diameter than your portafilter. The filter diameter aligns with the inner bottom basket diameter. To determine the correct filter size for your basket, you should measure the inner bottom diameter of your basket using a vernier caliper. This measurement corresponds to the filter size that will be compatible with your basket. If you don't have the means to measure this diameter, you can use the printable template to find the right filter. Print the template and cut out the circles, then place them inside your portafilter basket. The circle that fits best within the basket (occupying the least space) corresponds to the filter diameter you need. The number in the center of the selected circle indicates the filter diameter in millimeters. Ensure that you print the document at a 1:1 scale (100%) to ensure the template size matches the actual size accurately. The main purpose of SIBARIST LAB products is to let the community experiment, learn and get a better cup of coffee. Let’s develop the products of the future together! Sibarist - material The selection of materials and Sibarist's manufacturing process are focused on achieving the highest possible quality over any other factor, while always respecting process sustainability. The FAST line is composed of a mixture of abaca fiber from plantations in Ecuador and the Philippines (where the product consumed is replanted every year to then be harvested, offering a sustainable process, with batch control and chain of custody), cellulose fiber from European pine plantations (FSC and PEFC) and organic plant-based (non-fossil) polylactic acid. The main component, abaca fiber, is finer and more porous than other fibers, giving FAST paper good permeability (leading to a higher extraction speed), while offering great tensile and tearing strength in wet conditions, bringing structure and resistance to the composition, with a low substance (less paper). Additionally, the fibers are pulp made from non-wood fibers. This facilitates clean in-plant processing, essential for eliminating the presence of external flavors in the cup and for offering a high-quality filter, while it can also be processed in a more sustainable way. “This is a product with a history similar to that of a coffee bean. Its whole process is reflected in the cup, in the form of possibilities, irregularities, aromas and flavors. It also provides a clean and silky result in your cup. Its unique FAST Specialty Coffee Filter technology makes it possible to explore new extraction conditions and recipes, which have been limited until now. EXPLORE! Experiment with fine grinds and short pours with large amounts of water that stirs up the coffee bed, or conversely, use coarse grinds and long fine pours while maintaining a low water level with a full pulse and drawdown control. FASTER The filter’s permeability enables a faster flow providing an extraction drawdown 15-40% faster than other filters. NO CHOKING OR CLOGGING The fast flow Sibarist filter is less likely to choke or clog during the brewing process. Get the most out of your washed coffees or push your grind size limits to experience the full potential of your coffees. CONTINUITY AND UNIFORMITY The filter’s permeability offers greater circulation, minimizing the retention of liquid in the slurry, the creation of puddles or uneven drawdowns, even with fine grinds. This provides you with high control over extraction: CONTROL OVER EXTRACTION The pouring speed and turbulence have a direct effect on the filter’s flow and drawdown: cause-effect, making it possible to lengthen or shorten the extraction with the pouring valence. EXPLORE USING FINER GRINDS Its extraction speed allows users to explore finer grinds than ever before with percolation methods that do not choke or clog the filter. ACHIEVE HIGHER EXTRACTIONS The FAST Specialty Coffee Filter flow has the potential to yield higher extractions and performance values. It also has a lower LRR. EXCELLENT THERMO DYNAMICS PERFECT FOR FLORAL AND FRUIT FORWARD COFFEES USING LOWER RANGE BREW TEMPERATURE Graycano is not your regular metal dripper. Coated in high technology coating, the graycano dripper offers excellent heat conductivity and retention. Featuring interior protrusions called Lava Ribs, the graycano dripper promotes even extraction through maintaining water flow and temperature consistency, allowing you to accentuate the floral notes and fruit forward notes yet maintaining a balance cup quality using lower range water temperatures. LAVA RIBS One of the main features of the graycano is the Lava Ribs. This intentional design of the Graycano brewer mimics the lava ribs of volcanoes, manipulating variables that are specific in creating a perfect brewing environment. These lava ribs work to promote even flow as water travels downwards, while ensuring the proper channeling of air through the pockets it created. The design and process creates turbulence and allows for even water distribution throughout the coffee. Especially when used in conjunction with the Sibarist Filters, the graycano dripper is able to create a very high consistency in drainage rate. PERFECT THERMODYNAMICS FOR A FLORAL AND FRUIT FORWARD BREW In addition to the Lava Ribs, the graycano features a double-walled design with a conical center and a wrapped exterior. This works to create pockets of air under the cone between the center and exterior, assisting in maintaining a consistent and even temperature throughout the brewing process, and in the recirculation of heat from your fresh brew below. As a result of the aluminum metal used, the Graycano dripper is able to quickly reach the target temprature and maintaining it throughout the brewing process. The graycano is coated with high technology coating - a food safe and scratch resistant material and promotes a clean taste and does not interfere with the flavor of your coffee. The cast aluminum is an excellent choice for lower temperature brewing, a high heat retention and conductivity promotes a complex brew yet accentuating floral and fruity notes of the coffee. SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE The graycano sleeves are manufactured by FSD Lwerk Berlin Brandenburg, a social handicraft and service company established in 1986, a sponsor of a recognized workshop for people with disabilities. CHAMPION’S CHOICE The graycano brewer was used at National Championships, making it to the World Stage - choice of brewer by the German National Champion Nicole Battefeld-Montgomery and Australian National Champion Martin Woelfl. Made in Germany WHY DO WE CHOOSE TO CARRY THE GRAYCANO DRIPPER? BREW THE MOMENT Brew the moment is a lifestyle concept surrounding the graycano concept. It was created based on the concept of “Enjoy the moment”, which consists on the conscious appreciation of individual moments. This is very in tune with Slow Pour Supply’s belief in creating moments of intention for yourself “We live on a very fast and hectic world. This makes it even more important to slow down and breathe in. That is exactly where the “Brew the moment” begins. A conscious deceleration of the hustle achieved by brewing and enjoying coffee. To appreciate the coffee and also yourself. To pause for a moment and recharge your batteries. Brew the moment with the graycano and let the world pause for a bit.” - graycano graycano TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Dimensions: Bottom diameter: 98 mm, Top diameter: 96 mm, Height: 66 mm Material: Aluminum with ceramic coating Country of Origin: Germany Product Colors Colors of actual products might show up slightly different than in the product photos. This innovative approach is perfect for those who appreciate the original Origami and Trunk flatbed no bypass concept. Upgrade your brewing ritual with the FAST ORIGAMI Special Edition Filter, where precision meets innovation for a cup of coffee that transcends expectations. Elevate every sip and embrace the art of brewing mastery. We must measure up.” SIBARIST SPECIAL EDITIONS SIBARIST SPECIAL EDITIONS is a range of products especially designed in partnership with other brands and professionals with the goal of developing dedicated Sibarist products for each partnership and attaining the top maximum performance. In search of the best extraction! What is FAST Specialty Coffee Filter technology? FAST Specialty Coffee Filter technology is a unique fiber composition that provides a “drawdown” circulation of liquid (dissolution of soluble coffee particles) through its unprecedented structure, offering a fast, constant flow in extractions while retaining the solid, non-soluble particles. This results in a clean, silky cup, free from external flavors. FAST filters open up a new world of preparation possibilities, giving the barista the chance to experiment and obtain formerly limited features such as: faster flows, elimination of the need for air channels, increased extraction and heat delivery performance… these are some of the features offered by the FAST line. The V3 was always loved for its consistency, fast flow rate and unique cup profile. But in true OREA style - OREA did not stop there, always searching for simple ways to improve this much-loved brewer. IN THIS BUNDLE, YOU WILL GET: 1. one OREA V3MK2 in matte black with your choice of color base 2. option to add a 25 pack of Sibarist OREA Special Edition Filters in intro price OPTION TO ADD SIBARIST OREA SPECIAL EDITION FILTERS Made specifically for the OREA V3 dripper, the FLAT Special edition OREA is a FLAT filter redesigned to fit perfectly with the OREA V3 brewer. This special edition has the proper angles and diameters to ensure the zero bypass and a fast drawdown and great drain-through control. BEAUTIFULLY TOOTHY OREA tested a lot of different design changes to improve performance without sacrificing what OREA love about the V3. The best improvement they found came from adding 32 small teeth around the bed of the brewer. These teeth open up 32 little pockets of air that relieve pressure all around the coffee bed and give water some tiny escape paths around the bed (at this point, the water has already gone through the coffee and extracted). The teeth allow us to keep the bed totally flat, which was very important to us - and it helps maintain the unique flavour profile of the V3 in the process. MORE CONSISTENCY The result of these new teeth is a more consistent drip without clogging, even when using flat papers or fine grinds. It's immediately obvious in the way it drips, but you really notice it when you brew side-by-side. MORE OPTIONS TO EXPLORE With the new interior design - you have a wider range of brewing options. You can push this brewer more with finer grinds, bigger and faster pours and generally play with variations in recipes a lot more. They are excited to make probably the most flexible pour-over brewer out there even more flexible. FROM THE OUTSIDE, QUITE FAMILIAR This looks and feels like a V3 - it's not drastically different. This is on purpose as OREA really loves the classic V3. On this unit, they use a very coarse texture on the exterior for scratch proofing and durability. The brewer is matte black and truly matte this time. A NEW MATERIAL While switching manufacturers, OREA decided to also change the material of the V3. For this unit (and other new units like the Big Boy) OREA went for a high-impact Polypropylene that is BPA-free and FDA and EU approved for food safety. It is similar in weight and feeling as our original Trogamid material - giving a light, compliant, but durable brewer. Throw it in your bag - drop it on the floor and don't be afraid to brew on the edge of a cliff - this brewer has your back. A SWEET, WELL-EXTRACTED CUP PROFILE The V3 is known for bringing out sweetness but with great clarity and quality acidity. Due to the design, it tends to produce higher extraction cups with less time and effort, but you can always grind coarser or adjust your recipes to drop tds to the level you enjoy.
