INDUSTRY / FOOD / TOTES

The TEC Tote Storage System is a truly innovative bulk handling solution. Unlike
the traditional palletizing concept, it eliminates non-reusable packing costs
such as film, cardboard separators, frames and strapping. If you need a bottle
handling solution, you should take a look at the TEC Tote Storage System.

 

The TEC Tote Storage System provides safe and hygienic storage for plastic
materials, it is especially designed to store several bottle formats directly
from the injection or blow molding machine and maintains them ready for their
transportation and use later on in the production process.

 

The flexible and innovative solution for plastic bottle handling and storage
needs.

 

The Loading System automatically fills Totes with an exact bottle count. The
Unloading System, which can be adjusted according to the filling line’s demand,
automatically dumps Totes into a Hopper and feeds plastic product into the
unscrambler . TEC Totes have become elementary for the Bulk Storage System. TEC
Totes are designed to fit a Standard Trailer Truck Container, Loading Station
and/or Unloading Station. Several Tote sizes are available so the System can be
customized to the operations particular needs.

 

The TEC Tote Storage System is composed of three main components:

 

a) Loading System: TEC Totes are loaded by a TEC inclined conveyor that receives
the product from the injection or blow molding machine and conveys the product
to the top of the Totes. There, the product is received by a TEC Horizontal
Bidirectional Conveyor that deposits the product in each of the Totes, located
on each side of the horizontal conveyor.

 

The Loading system is configured on the Control Panel in order to regulate the
conveyor speed and to control the amount of product placed into each Tote.

 

b) Unloading System: A Tote Dumper or Unloading table empties the Tote into a
receiving Hopper that then deposits the bottles onto Tec conveyors that feed
them to the unscrambler ( labeling machines, filling, etc.).

 

c) TEC Totes: TEC has designed several types of Totes especially suited for
several bottle sizes and designs.

 * Recommended for 600 ml, 1.0 lt and 2.0 lt (54gr) or heavier bottles.

 * Tubular Galvanized Frame.
 * Includes Fork lift or Pallet jack bottom guides for movement.
 * Sealed, double-lined, polypropylene bag.
 * Sealed, double-lined, polypropylene cover.
 * Zipper type closure to avoid dust penetration.

 

HORIZONTAL HALF TOTE

 * 3.0 m³ capacity.
 * Recommended for 2.5 lt, 3.0 lt or larger bottles.
 * 57” High X 44” Wide X 91” Long.
 * Stackable up to 6, without racks.
 * Tubular Galvanized Frame.
 * Includes Fork lift or Pallet jack bottom guides for movement.
 * Sealed, double-lined, polypropylene bag.
 * Sealed, double-lined, polypropylene cover.
 * Zipper type closure to avoid dust penetration.

 

VERTICAL BOTTOM DISCHARGE TOTE

 * 2.5 m³ capacity.
 * Recommended for any size HDPE bottles.
 * 95” High X 44” Wide X 56” Long.
 * Available with interior strapping or steel deflectors to avoid bottle damage.
 * Stackable up to 3, without racks.
 * Tubular Galvanized Frame.
 * Includes Fork lift or Pallet jack bottom guides for movement.
 * Sealed, see through, PVC bag.
 * Sealed, see through, PVC cover.
 * Zipper type closure to avoid dust penetration.
