By looking down our rows, we know it’s coming to the end of October. Halloween
is a little over a week away and that #thankfulthursday feast is in a little
over a month🍁 We’ll be at our usual Seattle farmers markets until the end of
the year so you can swing by and get all the blueberry things for the holidays
and every day in between 🫐 We thought we’d share some fall #mealprepideas for
your everyday nourishment ✨ Easy Sweet & Savory Roasted Delicata Squash: 1
delicata squash (we got ours from @vivafarms CSA)🌱 1 TBS heirloom blueberry
powder🫐 1 TBS taco seasoning (we recommend @sanjuanislandseasalt taco blend)🌶
Generous drizzle of olive oil or avocado oil 🥑🫒 Fresh cilantro 🌿 (optional)
Roast at 425 for 30-35 minutes 🔥 *This recipe is best enjoyed while watching
Young Frankenstein, Shaun of the Dead, or Beetlejuice 👻

Mondays are for the birds 🐦 There’s a tinge of red coming to the blueberry
lanes and the last of the sunflowers are hanging on in the field 🌻

We grew up making Gravenstein applesauce with apples from our Grandma Audrey’s
apple ranch in Sebastopol, CA - so happy to find this heirloom variety in WA and
now we get to add another delicious heirloom twist of our own🫐 🍎 Cooked down
with about a cup of water, apples & blueberries were sweet enough on their own
so didn’t feel the need to add extra sugar/fructose ✨ Serve with a generous
sprinkle of cinnamon & cardamom ✨

@silvafamilyfarm and of course fresh blueberries straight from our blueberry
