THE CLIMATE CHAMPION PITCH COMPETITION

Startup Discovery School and Sahara Impact Ventures an Autodesk Foundation
portfolio organization, in collaboration with Academic City University College
are hosting their inaugural pitch competition in search of the best ventures
across Ghana tackling climate change.

Africa contributes to less than 4% of global GHG emissions, yet Africans are set
to be disproportionately affected by climate change ramifications. We are on the
search to find and scale the innovations that are helping to support Africans
transition to a net zero society, leaving no one behind.

The winners of this competition will receive a cash prize of up to $3000 and
further support to grow their business idea from global mentors.

Applicants must:

 * Have a scalable solution that is tackling Climate Change
 * Have an MVP or developed product
 * Have a business venture based in Africa
 * Must be contributing to a Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)
 * Must be able to pitch in person in Accra in September, 2024
