SHAWLS



Shawls are wearable blankets that keep your shoulders warm. I love making shawls
just as much as I love making them. They work up quickly and give an outfit a
pop of fun while keeping you warm.

Blankets are another thing I enjoy making. I enjoy making lap blankets and baby
blankets. They are so soft and cuddly that it is so hard to get out from under
them. Especially when it is cold outside and you are curled up with a book or
crochet project.

I started this business to remember my mother. She was the one who taught me to
Crochet. Once I mastered the basics I took it from there. She would tell people
that, "I taught her the basics and she took off with it. I did not think she
would stay with it as long as she has. I am proud of her!" Now I have a website,
newsletter, doing craft fairs, and I am on the board of CrochetTexas! Crochet
Guild. I am even apart of the national guild Crochet Guild of America. I am also
working on getting my Masters Certificate in Crochet and Instructor's
Certificate from the Yarn Craft Council.
