Halloween is a fun time of year! It is a chance to dress up and be someone else
for a day. Many people love to watch movies and think about what characters they
want to be. Here are some great ideas for Halloween costumes based on popular
movies.


BEETLEJUICE

First up is Beetlejuice! This movie is both funny and spooky. It’s about two
ghosts trying to scare people away from their home. They call in a crazy ghost
named Beetlejuice to help them out. Michael Keaton plays Beetlejuice and Winona
Ryder plays Lydia Deets. She says, “My whole life is a dark room.” This movie is
a classic and you will definitely be laughing your head off. To dress up as
Beetlejuice, you would wear a black and white striped suit and some pretty wild
makeup. Don’t forget to say his name three times!


ANCHORMAN

Anschulter with Will Ferrel. The film is a movie about a news anchor by the name
Ron Burgundy. He considers himself a big deal. He delivers funny lines with
loads of laughter. It will turn you into a Ron Burgundy by just putting on a
1970s-style suit with a mustache. And practice delivering those funny quotes.
You’ll be saying like, “I love Scotch!” Well, this outfit makes all people
smile.

best “Hello, dear!” in a British accent!


BRING IT ON

If you’re in the mood for something lively, Bring It On might be the ticket.
This is the movie about cheerleaders of rival high schools. The leader of one
team is Gabrielle Union. You may dress up in a cheerleader outfit with pom-poms.
Practice some cheers to get into character!



LEGALLY BLONDE

Legally Blonde is all about Elle Woods, played by Reese Witherspoon. She’s smart
and fashionable. Elle goes to Harvard Law School. To dress like her, wear a pink
outfit and carry a cute dog. You can add a law book and pretend you’re talking
business! Remember to say, “What like it’s hard?”
