Angelene Falk
Australian Information Commissioner and Privacy Commissioner
Office of the Australian Information Commissioner





Angelene was appointed Australian Information Commissioner and Privacy
Commissioner in August 2018. She leads the OAIC in fulfilling its functions
across privacy, freedom of information and government information management.

Angelene is a member of the National Data Advisory Council, and sits on the
Executive Committee of the Global Privacy Assembly (GPA), formerly known as the
International Conference of Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners (ICDPPC).
She chairs the GPA’s Strategic Direction Sub-Committee and is co-chair of its
Digital Citizen and Consumer Working Group.

Over the past decade Angelene has worked extensively with Australian Government
agencies, across the private sector and internationally, at the forefront of
addressing regulatory challenges and opportunities presented by rapidly evolving
technology and potential uses of data. Ms Falk’s experience extends across
industries and subject matter, including data breach prevention and management,
data sharing, credit reporting, digital health and access to information.

Angelene was admitted as a legal practitioner to the Supreme Court of NSW in
1998 and holds an Honours Degree of Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from
Monash University, a Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law from
Melbourne University and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.





Jane Horvath
Chief Privacy Officer
Apple 





Jane is the Chief Privacy Officer at Apple. She has been with the company since
September 2011, and brings more than a decade of information privacy and legal
experience to the role. She is responsible for overseeing Apple's compliance
with global privacy laws as well as working internally and externally on
developing issues related to privacy.

Prior to Apple, Jane was Global Privacy Counsel at Google. Before that, she
served as the DOJ’s first Chief Privacy Counsel and Civil Liberties Officer. At
the DOJ, she was a member of the High Level Contact Group and leader of the U.S.
delegation of experts tasked with exploring common ground between the European
Union’s Third Pillar data protection principles and U.S. federal privacy laws.
Prior to the DOJ, she also was the General Counsel of Digital City Inc., an
America Online, Inc. (AOL) subsidiary, and Assistant General Counsel at AOL,
where she helped draft the company’s first privacy policies. 

Jane holds a Bachelor of Science from the College of William and Mary and a
Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia.







Rebecca Skinner PSM
Chief Executive Officer
Services Australia 







Ms Rebecca Skinner PSM commenced as Services Australia Chief Executive Officer
on 16 March 2020.

Rebecca originally joined the Australian Public Service in 1993 after four years
teaching secondary school.

Before coming to Services Australia, she held the role of Associate Secretary of
Defence. She was responsible for Defence enterprise planning, performance and
risk management, and the integration of all corporate enabling functions across
the department.

Prior positions held include:



 * Deputy Secretary Strategic Policy and Intelligence (2016-2017)
 * Deputy Secretary Defence People (2014-2016)
 * First Assistant Secretary Capability Investment and Resources (2012-2014)
 * First Assistant Secretary Ministerial and Executive Coordination and
   Communication (2011-2012)
 * First Assistant Secretary Strategic Policy (2008-2011).



Rebecca also served as Assistant Secretary Defence and Intelligence at the
Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. She has also been a senior
executive in the Attorney General's Portfolio.

Rebecca has a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Graduate Diploma in Education
from the University of Melbourne. She also has a Graduate Diploma in Applied
Science (Computer Science) from Swinburne University. She is a graduate member
of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Rebecca was awarded a Public Service Medal in June 2021 for outstanding public
service. This is recognition for service in the areas of national security
policy, intelligence, business transformation and service delivery.









Erin Turner
Chief Executive Officer
Consumer Policy Research Centre 









Erin is a consumer advocate that has worked with a broad range of governments
and regulators to make markets fairer for Australians.

She joined CPRC in March 2022, bringing experience in governance, policy,
communications and research. Erin most recently led the advocacy and
communications team at consumer group CHOICE and previously worked for
not-for-profits including ACCAN and the CBAA.

Erin has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Politics and Public Policy. Erin is
currently a board member of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA)
and the Chair of the Financial Rights Legal Centre.
