(Formerly Mah Jongg Madness from 1985 thru April 2021....and now known as MAH
JONGG MASTERS®)


 

As you may already know, America was introduced to the game of Mah Jongg in the
1920′s. Since the National Mah Jongg League established a standardized set of
Rules and Hands almost 85 years ago.... we have enjoyed this game that combines
skill and strategy, along with competition and camaraderie.

If you play Mah Jongg, you've probably heard about the wonderful National
tournaments conducted by Mah Jongg Madness® (FROM 1985 THRU APRIL 2021) and Mah
Jongg Tournaments & Cruises.

We've been conducting tournaments and cruise-tournaments for 35 years, and are
best known for our week-end events in Las Vegas, Atlanta, Chicago-land,
Scottsdale, and on both the East and West Coasts of Florida.

Many countries continue to play similar and differing versions of the game;
while adding the elements of Ranks and Titles – which contribute to the
credibility and integrity of their games.

. . . . . We teamed up with mahjongtime.com to host and conduct the 
1st NATIONAL MAH JONGG TOURNAMENT ON THE WEB

We hosted 104 (!) players at our HISTORIC FIRST tournament on the WEB and
offered CA$H PRIZE & AWARD$, along with awarding a NEW AMERICAN MAH JONGG SET to
a lucky raffle winner. We also continue our mission to support various
Charities, giving back in HONOR of our Players to MAH JONGG FOR
MEMORIES/ALZHEIMER ASSOCIATION, BREAST CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION, and others.

OUR POLICY REGARDING COMMUTER RATE FOR PARTICIPATION AT OUR EVENTS:

PLEASE NOTE: COMMUTERS must live within 35 miles of the tournament event to
qualify for the COMMUTER RATE. If you live outside this area, we are glad to
arrange room reservations so you can join us as a guest at the hotel

CANCELLATION POLICY. PLEASE NOTE:

HOTELS have a more stringent cancellation policy for CONTRACTED GROUPS; more
restrictive than individually booked reservations. Hotel Room CANCELLATIONS must
be received Thirty (30) days prior to an event for a FULL refund. Your
TOURNAMENT FEE is generally REFUNDABLE, however, if you cancel the hotel room
too late (less than thirty (30) days prior to event) and have not paid in full,
your deposit may be forfeit.*

A LATE cancellation fee related to the Hotel's Catering guaranty may also result
in a reduced refund. TOURNAMENT FEE REFUNDS are provided for in the event of
timely cancellations only as stated in the terms, conditions and cancellation
penalties above; in some individual cases, partial fund transfers to future MJM
events may be allowed. Payment In full is due at least a month prior to the
event.

REFUNDS for payments initially made on guest's credit cards will incur a 5-6%
FEE.

For Cancellation Insurance, you might wish to contact us regarding ALLIANZ
TRAVEL INSURANCE.

Once your deposit is received, you agree to accept the terms and conditions
listed herein

Please read the terms and conditions and the cancellation penalty details in the
Mah Jongg Madness (MJM) literature and acquaint yourself with all the provisions
therein. You may purchase a complete Travel Protection Policy such as the plans
offered through Allianz or from any other source of your choice; we strongly
recommend the purchase of such a plan. Most plans will reimburse money paid
toward this event when cancelling for a covered reason. Mah Jongg Masters® (a
Division of STOCK DISTRIBUTORS INC and/or G & G TOURNAMENTS AND EVENTS, INC)
shall not be held liable or responsible for climatic conditions or other events
or occurrences beyond its control, including but not limited to war, terrorism,
acts of nature, illness or sickness including pandemics and/or epidemics, death,
governmental restrictions and government pronouncements, or circumstances beyond
the control of MJM. The right to revise the format of and/or reschedule any MJM
activities is expressly reserved by MJM. MJM is not liable for any accident or
injury of any nature en route to or departing from any MJM activities. MJM is
acting as an agent for various hotels, cruise lines & other providers or
suppliers and shall not be held liable for any actions, errors or omissions or
negligence on the part of such providers or suppliers. MJM shall endeavor, to
the best of its ability to assure the successful completion of the events, but
shall not be responsible for any acts beyond its control.
