CHAMPION SPOTLIGHT

Emmanuel is one of many students empowered by TGR Foundation. After emigrating
from Nigeria, after-school programs at the TGR Learning Lab Anaheim helped him
gain the transferable skills and support needed to pursue his dreams. He’s
currently a high school senior and was recently accepted into the Earl Woods
Scholar Program from which he’ll receive ongoing support on his path to a career

 * TGR LEARNING LAB
   
   Since 2006, the TGR Learning Lab has offered students unique learning
   experiences in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) in a safe and
   inspiring learning environment where kids can recognize their potential and
   gain the opportunities and support needed to thrive.


 * EARL WOODS SCHOLAR PROGRAM
   
   With one of the highest graduation rates in the country, the Earl Woods
   Scholar Program is designed to help first-generation scholars thrive in
   college and beyond. Encompassing mentorships, internships and career
   building, the program boasts a one-to-one philosophy that has helped nearly
   150 recipients attend top universities around the country.


 * CAREER CONNECTED LEARNING
   
   To help students prepare for a rapidly changing job market, we are helping
   students gain the skills and experiences needed to learn and grow. Through
   year-round programming focused on workforce development and career readiness,
   students are given the tools and resources needed to be prepared for their
   futures


 * COLLEGE ACCESS
   
   Our college access programming supports high school students interested in
   careers that require post-secondary education. Through a variety of workshops
   and resources, students nationwide receive the support needed to thrive in
   school and life.


 * EDUCATOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
   
   Our professional development workshops are focused on changing the way STEM
   is taught in our classrooms by providing professional development
   opportunities in STEM education through innovative lesson design. With
   hands-on, project-based learning activities, educators explore strategies
   that will enhance their curricula and prepare their students for future STEM
   careers.

Students from three Anaheim high schools who are interested in pursuing health

ANNUAL WINTER WORKSHOP UNITES PARTNERS, ALUMNI TO EMPOWER SCHOLARS FOR COLLEGE
SUCCESS

First-generation college students returning to class often find themselves
overwhelmed with limited support. TGR Foundation eases the burdens of Earl Woods
Scholars kicking off the year with its annual Winter Workshop.  

Held January 3-5 at the TGR Learning Lab in Anaheim, the 2024 Winter Workshop
united more than 60 students of all levels from colleges and universities across
the country. Most scholars are the first in their families to pursue higher
education and benefit from personalized support to navigate their unique
challenges. Throughout the event, they had opportunities to connect with peers,
prepare for their remaining college years and build skills to maximize their
experience and overcome obstacles on their path to graduation. The Foundation
collaborates with partners who are committed to its mission of empowering
students to pursue their passions through education.

FUNDRAISING EVENTS

For 25 years, TGR Foundation has received support from funds raised through
events produced by TGR Live, the exclusive event management company of TGR
Foundation. TGR Live creates amazing experiences at world-class events across
the country, including three PGA TOUR golf tournaments, an exclusive
entertainment experience in Las Vegas and a luxury golf outing at Pebble Beach.

NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND

CARDEROCK WELCOMES TGR FOUNDATION, STEM AMBASSADOR TO WEST BETHESDA

Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division opened its gates in West
Bethesda, MD, to Department of Defense (DoD) science, technology, engineering
and mathematic (STEM) Ambassadors on Feb. 22, 2024. The program, executed by the
TGR Foundation, a DoD STEM Education Consortium Partner, supports committed
educators working with students from under-resourced communities in the area of
STEM.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Collin Barry, sergeant major, Marine Corps Base
Quantico, gives a speech during the Pathways to College and Career Conference
hosted by TGR Foundations at Crossroads Elementary School on Marine Corps Base
Quantico, Virginia, September 30, 2023. TGR Foundation teamed up with DoD STEM
and the Marine Corps Community Services School Liaison Program to help military
and DoD-connected students explore opportunities and set them up for success
after high school.

Tiger Woods returns to the Riviera Country Club this week but to countless
others, he's never been absent.
