watching, dipping into Hot Springs Cove or sea kayaking to a rainforest trail,
visitors have enjoyed our eco tours since 1986.

We launch out of Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island, just minutes from
Long Beach and Pacific Rim National Park. Tofino is part of Clayoquot Sound, a
vast temperate rainforest area of extensive beaches and deep fjord inlets. At
Remote Passages, we are committed to preserving the ecological value and
timeless wonder of this very special place.

Wij hebben een fantastische ervaring gehad met Remote Passages. Dit was voor ons
wel het hoogtepunt van onze rondreis door Canada. Er werd ruim de tijd genomen
om wildlife te spotten en de gids wist veel te vertellen. We hebben de zee arend
gezien, otters, zeeleeuwen een grijze walvis en op de weg terug een springende
bultrug! Wat een geluk.

So friendly, great trips but sadly only one bear after three hours of looking.

We spent an incredible morning with our guide/captain Raphael on a zodiac, and
it was a highlight of our trip to Vancouver island. He had so much to share
about the animals we saw, research done locally and indigenous communities. I
love to nerd out and he was great with questions. The scenery alone made it
worth the ride even though we went on a slightly cloudy morning. The mustang
suits are so cozy so we were comfortable the entire time, and they also provide
gloves and a hat - for anyone with longer hair, wear the hat as you may end up
with crazy tangles from the wind and salt spray. Support awesome local
businesses like this one.
