WIFFLE BALL EVENTS POSTPONED

In response to recent human cases of Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) in
neighboring communities, the town of Exeter has now been placed in the “High
Risk” category for potential exposure to the rare but serious mosquito-borne
virus. Given the increased threat, the Town is recommending that residents avoid
outdoor activities during the hours from dusk to dawn. 

 

We have also consulted with the SAU, which is also limiting evening
events.  Therefore, out of an abundance of caution, we are going to postpone our
Professional Wiffleball Event that was scheduled for the evening of Friday, Sept
13.   Details on a future date for this event will be announced when available.
