SBURB TAS in 8:41:53.06

Welcome to "SBURB TAS in 8:41:53.06"s commentary section.

This is going to an extremely exhaustive corner.
This won't just be small remarks on the dialogue - I plan to give detailed
"making-of"s for many of these panels, complete thought process behind minute
details and word choices, and a lot of things many won't care about.

So hey. Sup. I'm Boogs. I made this comic. And I'm very proud of it.
The comic essentially began as me finishing Homestuck and wanting more of it.
Not more with the characters, but more SBURB. I loved SBURB. It is one of the
most interesting open ended systems and worlds I've ever seen in media, and I
wanted to see more from it.
So my first decision was to make my own damn Homestuck. I'll talk more about the
beginnings of the idea as we go, but let's talk more specifics.

This specific title page was very important to get right. I wanted the
TASVideos.org presentation a lot, and getting the details right was very fun. I
believe I calculated the file sizes based on a similarly long Final Fantasy TAS?
Another detail I like a lot is that it "obsoletes movie #413", that took place
over one day. (Can you tell I like Homestuck's first 5 acts a lot more?)

That's kind of it for this page. Luigi's running along the top if you look
carefully. That's mostly it.

This run of the Windows version of SBURB features multiple runners in a rush to
the game's main ending, featuring heavy RNG manipulation, exploits, glitches and
sequence breaking.

Produced by Boogs.
Cancelled After 555 pages.
Read to the end for a roundup of the planned story and my experience making this
comic! I really do think it's worth it.
