MICHAEL D. SANCHEZ

Founder, Optical Engineer, Drone Pilot

I have over 17 years of experience in optical test and measurement. I’ve worked
with lasers and cameras and detectors and optics of all kinds. I’ve worked in
extreme environments: I’ve frozen things in vacuum chambers, baked them in the
desert, and demonstrated them for Congress. In total, I’ve played a leading role
in the execution or management of over $330M in research and development across
academic, government, and commercial enterprises.


HEATHER WEYERS

Program Manager, UI/UX Designer

I have 20 years’ experience in software, interactives, and multimedia
development. I have goaded surly artists into rounds of revisions, hunted bugs
released by rapid prototyping teams, captured military veteran feedback on
usability, and cultivated children's interest in science through gameplay. My
projects have been on big screens and small, from the National Archives to the
Iowan prairies, in therapists’ offices, corporate trainings, and whirring in
ancient dust-covered iMacs.
