The planned start of the second world - Destiny will take place on December 22nd
at 20:00 CET | 16:00 BRT. The game server, hosted in North America, will feature
high-performance proxies for European and Brazilian players, a proven approach
from our previous projects that guarantees low latency and smooth, uninterrupted
gameplay for a global audience.


We are thrilled to share today's announcement, marking the beginning of a
transformative chapter in Kasteria's journey - a time of innovation and distinct
character. Throughout our history, we have tailored numerous 8.0 servers to
align with your, our valued players', vision. This tradition of surpassing
expectations is set to continue with our forthcoming edition, heralding a new
standard in gameplay.

Worlds merge!
16 August 2023
Kasterians, it is time for server merge!


On August 17, 2022 world Brutality will be merged into the world Infinity. Due
to this game worlds are going to be closed at 10:00 CEST and should be back at
around 11:00 CEST.


What does the upcoming merger mean for the affected game world?

Players from Brutality world are going to lost their houses, all items that are
inside are going to be transfered to their depots.


Please keep in mind that it is necessary to merge these worlds to have one
stable server which is supposed to stay for a long time.

New world - Brutality!

The planned start of the Brutality, the second world of Kasteria will take place
on 27 June 2023 at 17:00 BRT (22:00 CET).


We are thrilled to announce that we have been working tirelessly over the last
year to enhance our game engine, ensuring an even more immersive and engaging
gameplay experience for all our players. Our team of programmers has been
working hard to introduce numerous new features and improvements that will
elevate your gameplay to new heights.

With the upcoming world of Brutality, we have prepared a host of exciting
changes that are guaranteed to make your gaming experience even more thrilling
and enjoyable. However, for safety reasons, we will be gradually introducing
everything we have prepared for you over the last few months in our server
updates. We want to ensure that nothing surprises you or us.

Kasteria is dedicated to players from all around the world. Thanks to our
advanced network infrastructure, it doesn't matter where you're located, as
you'll always have low ping and smooth gameplay. We have proven this in the last
two editions of our server.

Bestiary

The Bestiary serves as your character's repository of accumulated knowledge
concerning the creatures of Tibia, categorized under various classes. Initially,
these creatures, along with their classes, will be represented as silhouettes.
The details about these creatures are unlocked and filled into their respective
Bestiary entries through interaction.


To reveal an entry, the creature it pertains to must be defeated. The first
defeat will inaugurate the entry, unmasking the creature's name, sprite, and the
level of difficulty it presents. A counter tracking your kills will indicate the
number of defeats necessary to uncover additional information.

To fully flesh out a creature's entry, you have to progress through three stages
of detail. Stage one uncovers fundamental information such as hitpoints, speed,
armor, typical loot items and a 5% increase in the experience gained from the
creature. Stage two permits visibility of less common loot items, the creature's
resistances, and provides a 10% boost in experience gained from the creature.
When you've defeated a sufficient number of creatures to unlock the final stage,
the semi-rare and rare loot items become visible, and the experience gained from
the creature surges by 15%.

Informations!

We are pleased to announce that, after experiencing a series of unexpected
server outages in recent days, we have taken swift and decisive action to
resolve the issue and prevent it from happening in the future.

It was determined that the cause of the outages was related to the server
hosting company that Kasteria had been using. In order to prevent further
disruptions, the team has decided to move to a new, dedicated server and switch
to a different hosting - one that has never let us down.

To apologize for the inconvenience caused by the outages and to thank our loyal
players for their patience and understanding, the Kasteria Team will be offering
compensation in the form of an experience boost for players in the Infinity and
Fidelity worlds. Specifically, players in the Infinity world will receive a 50%
extra experience boost until January 22nd, while players in the Fidelity world
will receive a 25% extra experience boost until the same date.

We would like to extend our sincerest apologies for any frustration or
inconvenience that may have been caused by the recent outages. We assure you
that all necessary steps have been taken to prevent this from happening in the
future. We look forward to continuing to provide our players with the best
possible gaming experience.

Game Improvements!
7 January 2023
We wanted to provide an update on the status of content updates for our game.
While it may seem like nothing has been happening on the surface, rest assured
that we have been hard at work behind the scenes. Recently, we attempted to
implement a new game engine that we have been working on for the past year.
Unfortunately, the first implementation did not go as planned and we had to
delay it until the next day. However, we were able to successfully implement the
new engine on the second try.

Since then, we have been busy analyzing and testing the new engine to ensure
that everything is functioning properly, just like it was on the old engine.
While we have been able to fix most of the issues that have arisen, we did run
into a few problems such as the ability to sell equipment to NPC's by accident
while selling inventory items. This issue has now been resolved and will be
applied to the game starting tomorrow. We ask for your patience while we work to
iron out any remaining issues.

In addition to our work on the new game engine, we have also implemented some
changes to the synchronization between the game and website databases. These
changes will allow us to synchronize player storages and other information
faster than before. This means that things like warzone scores, completed quests
and access on the character market will be updated constantly.

We hope these updates provide some insight into the work we have been doing and
we thank you for your patience as we strive to improve and enhance the game.

Game update!

We are glad to share with you hottest information! After dozens of hours spent
on developing and testing system we made, we are finally able to implement it on
Kasteria! The update is going to appear on 30 December after server save!

There will be entire new spawn with it's own story specifically designed by our
team for Kasteria! On that spawn you will encounter new terrifying creatures
from the deepest places of the glacial. These creatures who inhabit the depths
of the Kasteria feed on fearful souls, and they tear any warrior apart, who
dares to enter their territory alone.

(18:00 BRT). The server is going to be hosted on same machine as Castabra, means
players from all corners of the globe are going to play smoothly!

Fidelity will be a fast-paced world, offering a high rate server that will
provide you with a thrilling and exciting gaming experience. But don't let the
speed fool you - Kasteria has a rich and diverse content that will keep you
engaged for hours on end, even at the higher levels. You might even find that
this type of server is perfect for you, with its wide range of quests, hidden

It has been quite some time since our last Kasteria world. In the last few
months, we have been collaborating with the OldTibia fanpage on our second
project, Castabra. During this period, we have been testing a new technology for
our connection infrastructure, and so far, the results have been encouraging. We
have successfully proved that it is possible to provide a server for players
from around the world with a seamless and stable connection. We have received
feedback from players in Europe, Brazil, and the United States, and they all
agree that the server is smooth and lag-free for both War and RPG players.

We are thrilled to continue improving and expanding our server to provide the
best possible gaming experience for all of our players. We are committed to
enhance the gaming experience and provide a truly immersive and enjoyable
experience for players from all corners of the globe. We will continue to work
closely with the OldTibia fanpage to develop and improve our servers and make it
the best it can be.


Although at first we were sceptical, our new partners at Old Tibia Fanpage and
the wonderful BR/USA community have opened our eyes to a new way of playing. We
have been hosting servers for the EU community for many many years and all the
changes and suggestions made were completely against our usual way of working -
however our second project Castabra has proved that we choose right route!
Adding a built in bot including cave bot, we thought this was crazy! It's
because of this experience that we are able to find the conclusions we have
today and refine an exciting new world to bring you.

Let's face it, our beautiful games community from across the world is appealing
to a huge percentage of players slowly getting less time to play. Following
Kasteria and reviewing every single impact this implementation had we have
established the perfect balance - keeping a totally clean Cave Bot and strictly
removing all PVP bot functions.

We have learned from our past mistakes and have reconnected with our community
to understand their needs. In response to some concerns, here are a few key
points about the upcomming Fidelity world:

Higher PVP enforced which doesn't require to be involved in Guild War
Exori Vis is following target
Shared exp bonus for each different vocation in your party (a maximum of 100%
extra for all 4 vocations)
Tasks will be for Money only, no EXP tasks
Better frag system (please see Server information)
Wild Growth Rune for druids

We hope this information helps clarify any questions you may have about the
Fidelity world.

Additionaly, many of you are asking about the vocations balance. It'll be mostly
Kasteria balance, however with some nice additions that should improve the game:

Improved burst arrows for mages. Mages from now can use these to fight against
others, the power of bursts is compared to 7.92 version.
Improved Explosion rune which makes it useable again for each vocation - even
Knights.
Wild Growth rune for Druids. Druids from now can shot Wild Growths from far.

On Fidelity, you'll have the opportunity to explore uncharted territories,
discover hidden secrets, and face off against formidable foes that few have ever
encountered. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or just starting out, there's
always something new and exciting to discover in Kasteria.

World transfers
21 September 2022
The character world transfer service has been activated. You can now move
characters from Eternity to Facility. Further information on the transfer, the
restrictions and requirements can be found below.



With the introduction of this new feature, you are put in a position to decide
by yourself whether to stay or to leave the game world you are currently playing
on. If you do no longer want to be a part of a certain community, you are now
able to leave this community and become part of a new one. There are, however,
several restrictions which ensure that character world transfers are only made
after due consideration. Let's get right to the point.

General restrictions and transfer requirements:

- Transfer costs 75 Kasteria coins
- Before doing a world transfer, the character has to give up its rented house,
guild membership and marriage status on its current game world.
- Depot items of the character are going to be deleted
- Character cannot wear full-filled containers
- Character will lose the 10% of it's current experience

Update!
10 September 2022
In today's news, we would like to share with you informations about the things
we have been working on over the last few days.

With today's server save we have been implemented a brand new spawn with True
Asuras. The spawn has been designed for high level characters. Entrance requires
character with level 250 or above. To enter the spawn, you have to go to the
Asura Palace -1 and use the mirror located on the wall. Be carefull, these
creatures are really strong!



Additionaly, the experience gained from normal asuras has been abit increased to
balance the spawn.

After a couple of hours struggling and testing defense and armor formulas we
have found an issue inside, which caused they were not working as they supposed
to - formulas itself were correct, however some other code was not using it as
intented. The issue has been fixed and shouldn't be a problem anymore.

We are always working on the next development of the server and taking a very
detailed strategy when deciding what the next update should be. We will continue
to strive for perfection in every possible way so keep sending us your feedback
as this is what helps us platform the perfect server for you, our players.

Game update!
21 August 2022
It gives us pleasure to announce our very first update since we mentioned on our
previous news. With tommorow's server save we are going to add another two
difficulty levels to Dungeons:

Adept - minimum level: 230
Master - minimum level: 280



We have had an issues with the stable of the cam server for several months which
was caused by faulty machine - we were aware about the problem, however it "was"
never a time for this, as it was just restart of the machine required and
everything was working correctly for next few weeks. However, sometimes we were
forgetting to do so, and in the result you were not able to watch your cams even
for weeks. As we are starting to pay more attention on the management of the
server - we have bought a new machine and configured it in such way to not let
it loosing connection and bring the stable of the Cam Server as it should be!
Please be aware, that it will take some time before all the saved cams are gonna
be transfered to new dedicated server!

We believe that you are expecting a new content, and we are proud to announce
that it's something we are currently working on - however, that's not something
you will receive within a few days, it's gonna be a big one update that was not
there since long time!
