Someone asks permission to use AI to write a book in your style outside your
usual genre. Do you allow it?</p><p>Not only do I not allow it, I make sure my
refusal comes from a lawyer, in the most pointed and clear terms possible.</p>
Alex<p>I don’t get why it seems to be such a big deal for some people to tell me
why I shouldn’t use Telegram and use Signal instead.</p><p>I have a background
in Sec, I understand the differences and get the point. I still prefer using
Telegram for most applications.</p><p>Some people who approach me with their
“beliefs” don’t accept people valuing QoL over Sec in parts of their life. Life
is not just an instant messenger that you use to say good night to friends or
easily create group chats during cons.</p><p>I just wish those people, thus
their points being valid and understandable, wouldn’t tell me to shut up just
because I disagree on my personal behalf about completely neglecting everything
that’s not up to their security standards.</p>
