MEET ROBERT VOGEL | PROFESSIONAL/WORLD CHAMPION SHOOTER

We had the good fortune of connecting with Robert Vogel and we’ve shared our
conversation below.

Hi Robert, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own
business?
Well I had been a full-time police officer throughout all of my 20s. During that
whole time and even before I had been a very dedicated competitive shooter. I
simply got to the point where I was a multiple time national/world champion and
the demand was there for me to make a living as a professional shooter.



Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Since I was a young boy I devoted my life to being very skillful with guns. I
discovered competitive practical shooting as a teenager and I was all in. After
years of work I eventually reached the pinnacle and became a world champion…….
Finishing 1st out of hundreds numerous times on the biggest stage. It’s not a
spectator sport so there is little to no prize money in actually winning. These
days I make most of my living traveling and teaching people how to be better
shooters……. Often times these are law-enforcement or military officers who must
go into harms way.



Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the
best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it
was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live far from a city where there is not much going on socially but there is a
lot of freedom. Outdoor activities such as kayaking, four wheeling, shooting I
do on my property. I have a fast car, a boat and a hot tub I have a lot of fun
with as well.

If I want something different I travel…….. and have probably had the most fun in
foreign countries.



The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are
in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love
and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your
shoutout to?
More than anybody it would be my parents for allowing me to put so much
time/effort/energy at a young age into something so unconventional.
