THE LINK11 MANAGEMENT BOARD
Working hand in hand with a powerful team, the management board steers Link11
into the future. Jens-Philipp Jung and Karsten
Desler have been building the company and ensuring its success since 2005. The
owner-managed company expanded its
management team in 2017 to set course for international growth. All three
managing directors contribute their particular strengths,
passion and expert knowledge to the company.
JENS-PHILIPP JUNG
CEO
Co-founder Jens-Philipp Jung serves as a managing director of the Link11 GmbH
based in Frankfurt am Main and is responsible for commercial operations. He is a
renowned IT expert and a contributor to the ICT strategy of the Federal Ministry
of Education. As one of the youngest entrepreneurs of Baden-Württemberg, Jung
founded his first IT company while still in school. Within the regional section
of Die Jungen Unternehmer (“young entrepreneurs”), he works with dedication to
promote optimal entrepreneurial conditions in Germany.
KARSTEN DESLER
CTO
Co-founder and managing director Karsten Desler’s responsibility at Link11 is
the continuing technical development process. Patents have been filed for three
features of his multi-award-winning Link11 DDoS protection solution. Apart from
the continuing development of DDoS protection technology, his role encompasses
system and network administration duties for the server hosting and CDN
services. He co-founded Link11 GmbH with Jens-Philipp Jung in 2005, when he was
still studying computer science.
MARC WILCZEK
COO
In his capacity as managing director with Link11, Marc Wilczek is responsible
for strategic business development, growth initiatives as well as marketing and
sales. Prior to his current position, he worked in an executive capacity for the
Deutsche Telekom group, as an Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Middle East and
Africa senior vice president for the e-health corporation CompuGroup Medical and
headed Asian business operations for the IT security provider Utimaco Safeware
(now Sophos), among other roles.
