The U.S. Census Bureau's Demographic Analysis and Population Projection System
(DAPPS) is a comprehensive freely available software designed to support
detailed demographic analysis and population projections. Featuring a modern
interface, streamlined workflows, and a range of advanced analytical methods,
DAPPS offers users access to over 20 different techniques for analyzing
population dynamics, such as age and sex distribution, fertility, mortality, and
migration. With seamless data integration from common spreadsheet applications
and including new subnational projection methods and enhanced visualization
options, DAPPS is an indispensable tool for demographers and data analysts
alike.
