The IAS (International Association of Scientologists) is the official membership
organization of Scientology. It was formed in 1984 with the purpose to unite,
advance, support and protect the Scientology religion and Scientologists in all
parts of the world so as to achieve the Aims of Scientology as originated by
L. Ron Hubbard:

“A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war, where the
able can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where Man is free to
rise to greater heights.”

For more than three decades, the IAS has stood true to its purpose, sponsoring
worldwide social salvage programs, social betterment footholds, Ideal
Organizations in strategic cultural epicenters, Ideal Advanced Organizations and
the dissemination of Scientology on a global scale.

CITIZENS COMMISSION ON HUMAN RIGHTS

To eradicate psychiatric abuse for good, the IAS grants fund an international
CCHR campaign. This multi-phased program is designed to inform, activate and
outrage, and so legislate out of existence this industry of death.

Designed to educate, activate and create global support for the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights, United for Human Rights provides educators the
tools they need to bring human rights to life in their classrooms.

THE TRUTH ABOUT DRUGS

To address the global problem of drug abuse, the IAS grants make possible the
Truth About Drugs program, one of the largest drug education initiatives
planetwide. The program is made available free of charge to influential
figures—such as sheriffs, school resource officers or teachers—able to widely
implement it in their zone.

THE WAY TO HAPPINESS

To fill the moral vacuum in an increasingly materialistic society, the IAS
grants sponsor widespread distribution of The Way to Happiness booklets. Passed
hand to hand, its purpose is to help arrest the current moral decline in society
and restore integrity and trust to Man. That’s how the IAS has helped reach
hundreds of millions with The Way to Happiness.
