This dietary supplement has been formulated to offer the benefits of AHCC®, a
rare compound developed by Japanese scientists. Lentinus edodes).
However, interest in this mushroom's health benefits is far from recent; it has
been used for many years in traditional Asian medicine. As a result of
considerable research, AHCC® offers the benefits of different active principles
with immune-stimulant and anti-tumor properties.
WHAT ARE THE ORIGINS OF THE SHIITAKE MUSHROOM SUPPLEMENT?
Shiitake mushroom, or Lentinus edodes, is a fungus found in Japan, China, and
across the Korean Peninsula. These mushrooms have since been cultivated across
the world and made into shiitake mushroom extract capsules, among other things.
Today, 80% of the world's mushroom production is still based in Japan, as these
fungi have been used in Asian cuisine for more than two millennia. The Japanese
view the mushroom as the "elixir of life." Despite its long lineage, Japan only
began cultivating the mushroom 700 years ago, which is relatively recent
compared to other Asian nations.
China was one of the first practitioners of shiitake mushroom cultivation. The
Ming Dynasty was the first Chinese dynasty to revere the mushroom. It became
known as the Emperor's food because only the emperor and his family were allowed
to eat it.
Shiitake is prized as an excellent source of amino acids, the building blocks of
proteins in the human body, and for its array of vitamins and minerals,
including vitamin B and iron. It is not surprising that the shiitake mushroom
supplement has become so popular today.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THIS AHCC SHIITAKE MUSHROOM EXTRACT?
Since its development and the revelation of its therapeutic virtues, AHCC® has
been used by many thousands of people and its use supported by studies conducted
in over 30 university research institutes and 700 hospitals in Japan and across
the world.
* Among the active principles in AHCC® are the derivatives alpha-glucan,
polysaccharides recognized for their immune-stimulant effects. They boost the
immune system by stimulating the activity of various groups of white cells,
including NK cells, recognized as the body's first line of defense against
external attacks.
* The active principles in AHCC® also increase concentrations of T and B
lymphocytes, white blood cells which act in a specific way against pathogens.
These immune-stimulant effects therefore make this fermented shiitake extract
a valuable aid in the prevention of various diseases.
* The immune-stimulant properties of AHCC®, demonstrated in in vitro and
clinical studies, have rapidly attracted the interest of the scientific
community for their potential to fight certain cancers. There is a particular
focus on AHCC®'s stimulant effect on NK cells as they are such a vital line
of defense against cancer cells.
* Part of the immediate innate immune response, NK lymphocytes are able to
recognize and destroy tumor cells within a few hours. Suffice to say that
AHCC®'s stimulation of these 'killer cells' paves the way for promising new
therapeutic perspectives in the fight against cancer.
In order to offer a high-quality immune-stimulant supplement, AHCC® is
standardized to 10% alpha-glucans and exclusively produced by Amino Up company
in Japan, in accordance with GMP and ISO 9001 & 22000 standards. It is delivered
in capsules containing an optimal dose of 500 mg, with a suggested amount of 1
to 2 capsules a day. This dosage can be adapted to individual needs and
according to the advice of your therapist.
For optimal efficacy, AHCC's beneficial effects can be complemented by other
natural active principles such as Lactoferrin, a powerful antioxidant with
immune-stimulant properties. The formulation Resveratrol Synergy is also a
valuable aid with its exceptional antioxidant content, while the patented
product AC-11® can help prevent mutations to DNA.
SHIITAKE MUSHROOM CAPSULES SIDE EFFECTS
AHCC shiitake mushroom extract is prized for its health benefits. However,
before including Lentinus edodes extract in your supplementary regime, ensure
you are aware of any potential side effects.
Most people can take an AHCC supplement without worrying about experiencing side
effects. The most common shiitake mushroom supplement side effects are viewed as
relatively mild, with most instances occurring due to consuming too much at
once.
Do your research to familiarize yourself with the most common side effects and
what you should be aware of. There is plenty of scientific research into this
supplement, alongside lots of anecdotal evidence available online.

HOW TO TAKE THESE AHCC 500 MG CAPSULES?
The AHCC supplement is primarily available in capsule form. To maximize AHCC
supplement benefits, make sure you take 1 to 2 capsules daily or as directed by
your healthcare practitioner.
Never attempt to exceed the recommended daily dosage of two capsules a day for
AHCC shiitake mushroom extract. Doing so raises the risk of unpleasant side
effects.
The shiitake mushroom supplement is best consumed on an empty stomach. While you
can take this supplement with meals, the presence of food can interfere with the
beneficial compounds. Using this supplement on an empty stomach aids with faster
absorption.
