If you're particularly invested with a licensed brand or series that's
portrayed, meanwhile, then you'll probably enjoy some of the nods and winks to
characters both in the various actions on the tables and their missions. There
are some designs, both licensed and original, that we feel lack balance - such
as the sparse Mars table - but the option of admittedly short trials at least
allows for educated purchases. Generally, the licensed designs seem to have a
heavier focus on ramps for combos, which may seem simplistic to pinball wizards
but will appear fast-paced and fun for those not necessarily obsessed with
mastering complicated tables.

"Original" tables focus on a theme and, often, include more complex combo
requirements, bumpers and switches to worry about before triggering big-scoring
missions - Tesla is an example of this. The biggest attractions, arguably, are
the licensed tables that introduce familiar brands to accompany the using ball
flipping fun. Across the tables the visuals may be basic, from a technical
perspective, but there's strong art design that lights up the screen, with no
excuses for the player not spotting important bumpers or ramps - the useful
table guides are also invaluable for finding your way around each layout. It's
an enlightening comparison, with the bright and sharp HD visuals being
accompanied by an impeccably smooth frame rate the 3DS release performed
admirably, but this is a significantly stronger experience. Two of the many
tables that we've played are El Dorado and Shaman, which were included in Zen
Pinball 3D. The pinball action is as expected, with control options including
the intuitive use of the ZL and ZR shoulder buttons. You can view awards and
leaderboards - split into friends, country, all-time and weekly scores, for
example - intuitively, and the only issue can be with some occasionally lengthy
load times or connection issues with the rankings. There are a dizzying number
of customisation options for those that want to try different settings in the
game as a whole, or even to modify the rules on an individual table - only
scores on factory settings go onto leaderboards however, which is perfectly
fair. The front end of the app, showing your content, settings and scrolling
leaderboards and stats, is clean and easy on the eyes. Once you've downloaded
your content and calmed your nerves with a strong drink, the actual experience
is - for the most part - a delight. If anyone does decide that the fiddly
process is too much hassle to make buying tables worthwhile, it'd be a terrible
shame. Whether Zen Studios or Nintendo is culpable for this disappointing
infrastructure, an update is sorely needed to ensure that those with less
patience or familiarity with the Wii U operating system aren't driven away.

Not only does this necessitate yet another unnecessary trip to the eShop, but
would have been avoided entirely if the initial download had included all trials
in the first place. The unlocked tables that you've just clumsily paid for will
only work if you've already downloaded the equivalent trial tables, too the game
doesn't tell you to do this.

Or not, if you purchased an unlock option. Once you've processed the transaction
on the eShop it downloads as expected in the background, yet when complete - if
you haven't already done so - you'll need to quit the game and re-open it, at
which stage the download is installed and your tables will appear. The related
area in the eShop then lists the individual trials and unlock packs, though
bizarrely you're only allowed to download five options at a time, which again
seems rather archaic. 2 on 3DS lets you purchase Coin Rush packs from within the
game shows how clumsy and out-dated this is you need to go to the Home menu and
then select eShop, or visit the store and find the right area before going into
the game.

It's surprising that when you pick a table and select to buy it or download the
demo, you're greeted with a text box telling you to buy the table from the
eShop, but no link to do so directly.

Staff are swift and efficient in clearing tables and helping you with any extras
you require. The different food stations are self service, with cutlery and
condiments on each table. It’s likely you’ll end up in the Garden Café for
breakfast and lunch, especially if you are part of a group where everyone has
different tastes.

You can get something to eat at any time of day. There’s a huge selection here
so there really is something for every taste and dietary requirement. The Garden
Café on Norwegian EncoreĪt the heart of the dining is the big, busy Garden Café
which is buffet style so that you can choose whatever you like. But, it’s worth
looking first at the complimentary dining options that are included in your
cruise price. There are lots of world cuisines on offer on Norwegian Encore in

It appears the wait was worth it: in tow with the update are not performance
improvements and bug fixes, but an abundance of new features, too. The Edge
Handle, the fixed tab that opens the edge panel, can now be customized to your
heart’s desire - you can adjust its placement, size, and transparency in the
settings menu.Īfter months of beta testing, BlackBerry has finally begun
updating its sole flagship Android phone, the Priv, to Marshmallow. And a new
Quick Tools menu contains utilities like a ruler, compass, and flashlight. The
upgraded Task Edge tool surfaces shortcuts to commonly used functions
like editing a contact, composing a text message, and adding a new alarm. The
People Edge tool, a floating widget that provides quick access to your top five
contacts, has been updated to include contact names as well as pictures. It now
fits twice as many apps (up to 10) as before. The edge panel, a swipe-in window
that inhabits the outer rims of phones’ curved displays, has been slightly
enlarged. The Galaxy S6 Edge and S6 Edge Plus updates come with unique
improvements all their own. When used in conjunction with Samsung’s Gear VR, it
supports web browsing in virtual reality. One addition is Samsung Internet 4.0,

Upgraded phones lose Moto Assist, the phone maker’s suite of accessibility

Marshmallow is a little more involved most.

Only 2014 Moto X and 2015 Moto E models sold in Latin America, Canada, Europe,
and Asia have received an upgrade to Marshmallow. Some updates have been - and
still are - restricted by region. Motorola is also known for its timely updates
in recent years, so it’s not surprising to learn that the company brought
Marshmallow to a swath of devices relatively soon after the operating system’s

get your hands dirty… or consider trading up to a newer model. Unfortunately,
neither Marshmallow nor Nougat will not make its way to the Nexus 4, the 2014
Nexus 7, or the Nexus 10. Google’s made the update available for download on the
devices’ factory image page. It’s available now for the following devices: When
Google debuted the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P, both of which shipped with the newest
version of Marshmallow, Android 6.0.1, pre-installed, the search giant said that
select Nexus smartphones, tablets, and set-top boxes would receive an update to

SPORE GALACTIC ADVENTURES SINKING

Sometimes, in tribal stage, your chieftain will get abducted by a spaceship
however he will not be reborn. It is currently unknown what triggers this
glitch, but it has no known fix and has not been tested. This is caused by the
game switching the values of water and land. The sea monster will not attack,
except if you go onto land, in which case it will rise out the ground and devour
you as it would in the water. Sometimes if you move on to the Creature
Stage,your creature will not run to land and your nest will be underwater. It
either had to do with my CPU's speed, or something else. I clicked the green

If we find time for Instagram and Facebook, we most certainly can find even 15
minutes to spend with God daily. With the Bible literally available at our
finger tips, there really shouldn’t be any excuse as to why we are not spending
time in the word more. Often times instead of focusing on edifying content, I
aimlessly scroll through social media. It also offers a split screen so you can
read from parallel translations.Looking for the best Bible study apps? I am
glued to my phone, sad but so true. Another bonus in this app is that you can
click on a word from the verse and conveniently look up all other instances of
this word’s use. Olive Tree – has great reading plans including thematic reading
plans. Strong’s number linked to dictionary, and Bible maps. It has a search for
Bible, Commentaries and personal notes. It has Bible version verse comparison,
highlighting, bookmarking. My Sword Bible – this app has Bible study tools
galore! It has multiple off-line Bibles, commentaries, dictionaries and books
(including Treasury of Scriptural Knowledge). You can also share verses across
social media. Logos Bible – one of the unique things about Logos Bible is that
it includes a reference scanner – so you can take a picture on your phone of a
verse you see anywhere and it will look it up for you! Yeah, I thought that was
cool, too! It also includes text comparison, Greek and Hebrew word comparison, a
section for Bible Word Study and other study tools. You can also highlight
verses or tag them to organize your study, and it also includes audio! It
includes a Hebrew and Greek lexicon, dictionaries, encyclopedias, Treasury of
Scriptural Knowledge and more. Youversion also offers 100+ languages.īLB Blue
Letter Bible – this is a favorite tool for Bible study. It also offers a long
list of versions to choose from, audio, and various Bible reading plans
(including the Christadelphian Bible Companion) along with “trackers” and
reminders for these plans. You can create and share a “verse of the day” to
friends over texting or social media.

YouVersion – one of the great features of YouVersion is that you can add friends
to connect over Bible reading together. Besides the daily readings, it offers a

You can create an audio playlist of the daily readings and listen to it while
you drive or work. It includes various reading plans including the Bible Reading
Companion. Key to the Bible is a Christadelphian produced app for both Android
and iphone platforms. The second group of apps are not Christadelphian, but are
specially recommended for their study tools or bonus resources (and they’re all
free!).

The first group are Christadelphian produced apps that mainly focus on daily
Bible reading. Technology – love it and hate it! While nothing beats a solid
page-flipping book in my mind, these Bible apps are nontheless handy resources
to carry around in your back pocket (maybe literally!) We’ve broken our favorite
apps into two categories.
