   Transport Secretary Mark Harper has said that “no option is off the table”
   ahead of his decision on whether to renew the contract of TransPennine
   Express (TPE).

   Transport Secretary Mark Harper has accepted delays to HS2 will not save
   money, but told MPs the Government had to make “sensible decisions” due to
   having annual budgets.


 * SPRING STEAM GALA ‘A TRIUMPH’, SAYS SVR
   
   The Spring Steam Gala, held last weekend, was a huge success for SVR,
   exceeding its budget for paying passengers by almost 18%.
