GENERAL INFORMATION[]

If you don't know what xenogenders are, they are genders that are outside of the
societal norms. Why do people use xenogenders? Xenogenders are often used by
neurodivergent individuals whose gender can't be described by the regular labels
of man, woman, and nonbinary (or really any gender in-between those, such as
gender fluid, gender fae, etc.). They are often related to aesthetics, objects,
and specific sensations/vibes. It is different than identifying as an object
(that is objectkin) but rather feeling that the object heavily influences their
indentity, specifically their gender in this case!!

Quick Warning About Problematic Genders/Identities (TW for SH, Cultural
Appropriation, and Transphobia): I don't believe many identities can be
problematic, however, some identities can be. These tend to be one of the
following: cultural appropriation/rcta, transid, and fake identities to mock
people who use xenogenders and other unconventional identities. Cultural
appropriation is the act of adopting another culture's customs and traditions
inappropriately and without consent of that culture. This is often done by
dominate cultures to lesser known/closed cultures. Cultural appropriation
includes using names from a closed culture. Race change to another (RCTA) is an
identity often used to mock transgender individuals by claiming they want to
change races or that they have changes races. In other cases, these people
suffer from delusions or some issue of the sort. It is an extreme form of
cultural appropriation, and it also harms the transgender community and the
perception of trans individuals. TransIDs are people who decide that they are
changing parts of their identity that can't be done and only harms others,
usually this is an ableist act, claiming that they want to "transition to
*insert disability/issue*". For example, I once encountered a transid about
wanting your SH to be worse than it actually is, which romanticizes SH and
encourages people to not seek help and to think that it's "trendy" or something
to SH. Lastly, mocking identities towards xenogender users. Things like saying
"I identify as an attack helicoptor" is usually said with the intent to mock and
ridicule transgender and xenogender individuals. Of course, someone can identify
as such, but the people who tend to say those things usually are not xenogender
but rather transphobes and xenophobes.

If you notice any gender posted here from a problematic creator, please let the
creator of the wiki know so they can change it. That or edit the wiki to specify
it's from a problematic source (DO NOT DELETE), I will delete it upon
investigation, that or just leave the warning there so that people can decide
for themselves if they want to associate with an identity created from a
problematic source.
