guess. Still, this is strange and I'd like to know. So I figured if the dongle
is working, we can let windows update and see if that solves the issue.

I saw he had a network driver update pending, in windows update. The 'fix' was
to connect to his wireless network during the 10 second window before the screen
went nuts, then just wait and do nothing for a while. If I removed the dongle it
would not immediately recover, but if I also unplugged the video connector (VGA)
and plugged it back in, it would recover. Windows was still running OK because
it would make the usual sound if I unplugged and replugged the USB dongle.

Within about 5-10 seconds of plugging it into any USB port (usb2 or 3), his
monitor would flicker, and then display only colorful rapidly-moving static. My
friend got a refurb PC, and installed this Wireless USB adapter using the

MORTAL EMPIRES MAP WARHAMMER II

Mortal Empires doesn’t have a specific launch date itself, but at the moment
it’s expected a few weeks after Warhammer 2. Norsca won’t make it into Mortal
Empires at release (the development schedules overlapped too much, apparently),
but will be added with a patch later on. You can read the list here.Ī couple of
other things. Update 2 October: Those 295 settlements have been datamined.

This campaign will be one of straightforward conquest (so no Vortex stuff).
Mechanics from Total War: Warhammer 2 will carry over, so ‘universal territory
capture’ (with climate restrictions), increased building slots, rogue armies,
treasure hunting, and all the rest will be in there.

In terms of size, Mortal Empires will have 295 settlements (Old World has 142).
In the article, Creative Assembly stress that this won’t just be the two maps
jammed together (for starters, I don’t think the scale would allow that to
work), but it sounds like it’ll be the full Old World plus “key territories from
Lustria, the Southlands, Naggaroth and Ulthuan”. If you own both TW:W and
Warhammer 2, then you’ll be able to play a campaign that uses a combined version
of both maps. This comes in conjunction with an image suggesting the upcoming
line-up of free Legendary Lords for the sequel.įor starters, the combo map
campaign now has a name Mortal Empires. Creative Assembly have outlined a little
bit more about how the ‘combined map’ campaign for Total War: Warhammer 2 and
the original game will work.
