Breakdown coverage is not an unnecessary expense just because it isn’t required
by law. It makes sure you receive assistance if your car breaks down without
having to pay the expensive call-out fees. Therefore, you might be wondering if
it’s worthwhile to purchase breakdown insurance when the cost of just owning and
maintaining a car is high. Check with your insurance and bank account first to
see if you already have coverage before selecting to get breakdown insurance.
Many auto insurance companies will ask you whether you want to add breakdown
insurance as an extra. Breakdown cover may be one of the benefits that packaged
bank accounts offer. If your... Read More »

have another car lined up. A dealer will be under less pressure to sell.  When

BUYING A NEW CAR THE SMART WAY

Purchasing a vehicle from a dealership is like playing a game of cards.  You
don’t want to show them your hand straight away.  You need to focus on one thing

reclaim some of that lost revenue back.  Likewise, if you tell them straight
away, they may give you less for your current car than its actual value.  When
trading in a used car, do your research... Read More »

DO ELECTRIC CARS BREAK DOWN LESS THAN OTHERS?

 Alex
 18th May 2021

For anyone considering the purchase of an electric car, one concern is the
maintenance and up-keep involved. Electric cars are not cheap, so you will want
to ensure that they are going to last you a long time and not have as many
maintenance issues as a fuel or hybrid vehicle. The great news is that electric
cars do carry a maintenance advantage over hybrids and diesel/gasoline vehicles,
in that they tend to have less maintenance or break-down issues. Fuel or hybrid
vehicles have a lot more parts that have the potential for malfunctioning than
electric cars do. Yes electric cars will eventually have parts that wear out and
fail,... Read More »
