COLLABORATIONS 60 TEAM MEETUPS 46 SAFETY & SECURITY WORKSHOPS 40 ENGINEERING WEBINARS 15 AMBASSADOR MEETUPS 7 ENTREPRENEURSHIP EVENTS 6 9 IN-PERSON JAMBOREE MEETUPS Organized by iGEM Teams, with the help of iGEM Ambassadors. 2021 GIANT JAMBOREE NOVEMBER 4-14, ONLINE JAMBOREE.IGEM.ORG SUPPORTING TEAMS 2 Grant Programs, 95 Grant Recipients, $250,000 in grants IGEM IMPACT GRANT 90 iGEM teams received a total of $225,000 in grants to help take their projects to the next level, with thanks to the Frederick Gardner Cottrell Foundation. SAFETY & SECURITY GRANT 5 iGEM teams received $5000 each to accelerate technical progress in biosafety and biosecurity, with thanks to Open Philanthropy. DNA SYNTHESIS Up to 30,000 base pairs of custom DNA for every iGEM Team, with thanks to our synthesis partners, IDT and Twist Bioscience.
