NEWS #3 - MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR

Esteemed community members,

At the outset, I extend my sincere wishes for a joyous Christmas and a
prosperous New Year to each and every one of you. As we reflect on what happened
during the year 2023, it has been almost 9 months since the last news of the
clan. Throughout the course of 2023, the clan has demonstrated unwavering
competitiveness in various events and Clan Wars.

Furthermore, significant strides have been made in enhancing our esteemed forum
and Discord channels. Notably, our focus has extended to the development of a
dedicated server for events and Clan Wars. This initiative aligns with our New
Year's resolution to meticulously organize events that cater to the interests of
our community, establishing the server as a pivotal platform for this purpose.

Throughout the year, we have experienced a notable surge in "Join Requests" a
discernible indicator that our clan is expanding, and, more significantly, that
there exists a cadre of players who place their trust in the ethos and integrity
of our clan.

Looking ahead, our aspirations extend to the establishment of an MGM server in
the long term. However, we recognize the importance of patience and careful
planning in realizing this ambitious endeavor.

The following is a summary of the year 2023. This summary includes:

CLAN WARS

In this dedicated segment, we aim to conduct an exhaustive analysis of the Clan
Wars conducted throughout the year 2023. As delineated in the accompanying
table, our active participation comprised a total of 28 clan wars. Regrettably,
our success rate indicates triumph in only 13 instances, with the remaining 15
concluded in defeat. Upon reflection of these outcomes, it is evident that our
overall performance in the aforementioned year did not attain an optimal
standard.

* An anti-code theft feature was added to our "Clan Roster" and "Clan Wars"
pages as we realized that a community was stealing code from these pages.

Applications and Plugins:

* Updated the clan's own application "Xenous 1.0.2".
* Updated the "Brilliant Discord Integration" application to version 1.0.19.1

Hosting (cPanel):

* Upgraded PHP to version 8.2
* The forum was optimized up to 10% with the long term cache method.

CLAN ROSTER (PAGE)

Presently, we have enhanced our "Clan Roster" page by incorporating a series of
improvements, including a more modern stylistic approach.

CLAN WAR

Furthermore, significant enhancements have been made to our "Clan War" page,
aimed at providing better convenience for our Squad Moderator. We have
implemented a form enabling our Squad Moderator to input data regarding the clan
wars played. This information is then automatically displayed on the "Clan War"
page, ensuring a swift and efficient process. This marks a departure from the
previous method, which involved manually entering data through phpMyAdmin on our
"Clan War" page.

CLAN WAR (PAGE)

As you can see, the current form is not the best in design; however, its
functionality is noteworthy. This implementation serves to alleviate the time
and effort required to update the "Clan Wars" page. In particular, Squad
Moderators are now empowered to perform these updates autonomously through the
implemented form.

DISCORD UPDATES

We have diligently undertaken efforts to enhance the security of our Discord
platform, aiming to mitigate the presence of spam bots and potential security
threats from hackers. In addition to these security measures, we have
successfully implemented the synchronization of Discord roles with our forum.
Consequently, users can now register on the forum using their Discord accounts,
facilitating the seamless synchronization of data such as profile photos and
cover images. This streamlined registration process not only ensures expediency
but also contributes to a heightened level of security.

Discord (Synchronized):

* Notifications from the forum have been added to the
⁠💿│𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐔𝐌-𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒, everything related to clan
requests, announcements, clan wars will automatically be notified in this
channel.

As you can see in the image above, this is how the channel advertisements look
like, soon to be improved.

CLAN WAR & EVENTS SERVER

As you are aware, the clan presently lacks a dedicated Clan War server, owing to
various circumstances. However, I wish to inform you that concerted efforts are
underway to rectify this situation. Our ongoing endeavors aim to establish a
Clan War server, enabling us to engage in matches seamlessly, and to organize
events for the betterment of our community.

This initiative is a collaborative effort involving our skilled developers:

@ xen}AlvarO , overseeing the development of the lobby and map panel
@ xen}TRtam , assuming a leadership role in the comprehensive development of the
server, including the creation of arenas, and providing guidance to other
developers involved in the project.
