WHEN DOES SEMAGLUTIDE START WORKING?

Semaglutide starts working immediately after your first injection. Semaglutide
will begin sending messages to your brain that you are full so you should start
feeling the appetite suppression within days. Patients can start seeing weight
loss between 1-4 weeks. For some patients, weight loss and appetite suppression
may be slow in the first few months, but will increase as the medication dose
increases. You just have to find the right dose for you!


WHY IS SEMAGLUTIDE COMPOUNDED WITH B-VITAMINS?

WHAT IF MY BMI IS ABOVE 30?

You’re probably a good candidate! The clinical studies for Semaglutide looked at
people who have a BMI above 30, or above 27 with a co-morbidity. Thus, all the

above 30.


WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF SEMAGLUTIDE?

Nausea is the number one side effect. Everyone is different, but many people
only experience nausea within the first 24-48 hours after the injection. Other
side effects may include constipation, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain,
fatigue, dizziness, or headache.

CAN I DO THE INJECTION MYSELF?

Yes! Begin by removing the cap on the vial and using an alcohol pad to wipe off
the top of the vial. Then wipe the area you will be injecting (usually the
stomach. You can switch sides of the stomach every week).
Take the syringe and pull down to your dosage. Then insert needle into vial,
push the air out, and again pull down to correct dosage. Inject into prepped
area and push medication in. Then remove needle and dispose. You are welcome to
come to the clinic if you are unsure or need help.


WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I SIGN UP FOR A CONSULTATION?

After you fill out the form and schedule a consultation, we’ll give you a call
at your allotted time. You can ask any questions you have and we’ll tell you a
little bit more about the program. Then, you’ll fill out a medical assessment
and speak to a doctor. After you submit payment, the medication will be shipped
to your door! We’ll check in with you before your next shipment and payment date
to make sure you’re doing well and want to renew!


DO I NEED TO COME INTO THE CLINIC?

No! Everything is done over the phone and online. However, if you need help with
your injection, you can come in and we’ll show you how to administer the
injection!


WILL I BE DEPENDENT ON SEMAGLUTIDE?

Our doctors will work closely with you to create a tailored plan, and the
duration of Semaglutide use will depend on your individual weight loss goals.
The potential for weight gain after stopping Semaglutide can vary depending on
individual factors such as lifestyle, diet, and exercise habits. Once you stop
using Semaglutide, it’s essential to maintain a healthy lifestyle, including
balanced eating and regular physical activity, to help sustain your weight loss
results.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT MAINTENANCE DOSE IS RIGHT FOR ME?

Pay attention to how you feel after each injection. Are you seeing changes in
your appetite and weight? If not, you likely require a higher dose. Make sure to
follow the instructions on your prescription carefully and if you have any
questions or concerns about your dosage please reach out to our nurses.


WHAT IF I HAVE SIDE EFFECTS?

As you know, the most common side effect of taking semaglutide is nausea. If you
would like an anti-nausea medication please reach out to our nurses and they
will work with your provider to get a prescription sent in for you.
Additionally, our nurses are available to answer questions about other side
effects you may be experiencing as well.


DO I NEED TO GO ON A DIET WHEN I’M ON SEMAGLUTIDE?

You don’t have to stick to a strict diet. While on Semaglutide, you will get
fuller, faster so stick to smaller portions so make sure you don’t over eat.
Stick to healthy eating – drink water, make sure you’re getting protein,
vitamins, etc.


WILL I NEED TO USE SEMAGLUTIDE LONG-TERM?

It is a personal choice, with guidance from one of our medical providers. Many
people take it long-term because they like how they feel and the results they
are getting. Many people, however, will take it for a period of time, lose the
weight they desire, then go off of it. It is different for each person.
