HAPPY BIRTHDAY
We celebrated my friends birthday with a girls trip to Delta. We had a
wonderful trip. This was the perfect relaxing place to get together. We
really enjoyed our stay.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
Poor food selection, poor restaurants selection, quality not good…I had
worst pina colada’s at Luna bar, they only mix ice and cream, no straw, it
taste only bubble cream, tried 3 days, all the same. We are here to
celebrate birthday and I contacted via Facebook and instagram, they are not
able to help anything and ask me email manager and general email, I email 4
different emails, no reply at all. And of course we didn’t get birthday
surprise nor room grades. My parents did get email from front desk the day
before asking if they are celebrating anything, so I asked front desk why
we didn’t receive any email, are we all should be treating the same? They
finally said we will do something and gave us balloon. If I can replan my
birthday trip again, I would not stay in delta after we spent 5 nights
there. Very frustrating we could get helped after we contacted via
Facebook, instagram and email 4 different emails over 10 times, no one can
accommodate just a birthday request, it just worst stay ever.

NEEDS SOME IMPROVEMENT
Overall the stay was a good value but we would not return. The food options
for dinner were very limited and breakfast service was none existent and
the cleaniness could be improved. The gym had nice equipment but only 3
treadmills were operating.
For the buffet service it needed to be better monitored. A kid dropped
utensils and picked it up off the floor and put it back.
Pools were great!

A DISAPPOINTMENT
Even though this hotel is newer, but the room does not have shower gel
(fell off from the wall, perhaps), toilet sometimes won't flush. These
issues, combined with the lack of choices and the level of food offered at
the buffet, made it a disappointment for me and my friend.
We did enjoy the lazy river and the spa.

RELAXING ALL INCLUSIVE AND AMAZING POOL
Given the reviews I’d say we really enjoyed Delta much more than other PV
resorts such as Marriott. The food was actually good (you’d have to like
Mexican food and it looks like some other options like the afternoon
quesadilla stand and panini cafe were added) and the pools were amazing
both for couples and families. Some things could be improved- basic
amenities like toothpaste were not available, better publicity of the food
options, and the landscaping needs overhauling to make this an impeccable
5star resort (landscaping is a mess now and having some native gardens and
wildlife sanctuary around the hote will be amazing . But the pool amenities
were good enough and we were glad to have enjoyed it!

UNDERWHELMED
I wish I had better things to say about our stay at the resort but
unfortunately the property fell short. It started with our first impression
upon check-in which took over an hour. The lobby was chaotic, there were
long lines at the front desk and lobby bar, and staff looked tired and
annoyed with all the frustrated guests complaining about one thing or
another. It was Mexico's Spring break so the resort was at capacity. But it
appeared that the resort did not have enough staff to adequately serve the
resort's guests or keep up with routine tasks. The pool, although extremely
beautiful, was always dirty with no fresh towels and the lines at the bar
were long...good luck getting someone to wait on you too. The
breakfast/dinner buffet was overrun. Staff could barely keep up and food
was always running out. Unfortunately my family got sick from what we could
determine was from spoiled bacon. This took away a good 3 days of
activities we had planned which we are still fighting to get refunds on.
This also forced us to go off property several times for meals as we were
very cautious about eating at the buffet again.
The property is beautiful and we did see an uptick in routine maintenance
once Spring Break concluded. The pools are wonderful! And the beach club is
fun too. But be prepared for a lesser experience at the beach. The
umbrellas, chairs and loungers are very old and falling apart. The beach
isn't raked of trash so make sure you have an eye on your little ones as I
was constantly taking trash out of their hands. The beach also allows for
locals to sell items to you. I didn't mind this at all but I could see
where others could be annoyed. We rented a car for our stay but you don't
need one if you utilize the beach shuttle. Another thing to note is the
golf cart transportation that gets you around the resort. We are an active
family and walked 90% of the time but there was definitely an issue with
availability. Guests were very angry with the resort in this department. In
conclusion, it is a beautiful resort that if you are wanting to visit then
make sure it is during a slow time because the resort just doesn't have
enough staff to accommodate. Also consider eating meals off property unless
you are very careful of what you eat on property. Food poisoning is awful
and should never be apart of your vacation.

NOT ENOUGH
A few things to note before booking with this resort.
The hours of the poolside bar are from 11-5 and then the only place to get
a drink after that is near the lobby.
The hours of the buffet are also inconvenient where they close between noon
and 5. The food you can get for lunch is burgers and hot dogs or you can
get tapas poolside. However, due to the volume of people it is a long wait
to get lunch.
They are not beach front, and yes there is a shuttle, but it only holds 12
people. There is lots of idle waiting time.
Overall, they seem understaffed and there are wait times for nearly
everything.
Beyond that, the resort is quiet and peaceful. It seems like a good place
to bring kids because it is not a party resort and there are many pools.
