or disrupt operations by pretending to be someone you trust

Scroll down to see tips to keep in mind when you receive an unsolicited email

Stop. Think before you Click
Be immediately suspicious if the message tries to scare you, offers an
incredible deal, or prompts you to reset a passcode or update account
information
Check each link by hovering over it to see its true source. If the URL is
unfamiliar or differs from what you expected to see, don’t click
Be cautious of any attachments unless you are certain of the source
Verify claims and offers via a trusted website or known phone number
Forward the email as an attachment to PepsicoSecurity@pepsico.com
On a PC press Ctrl+Alt+F
On a Mac press Control+Command+J
If the above options do not work or you are on a mobile device, simply forward
the email to PepsicoSecurity@pepsico.com
Report any suspicious emails with the PhishAlarm button

If this had been an actual attack, clicking a link or opening an attachment
would have sent you to a suspicious site and exposed your system to ransomware,
