ELDERLY WOMAN IN WHEELCHAIR FATALLY MOWED DOWN CROSSING NYC STREET

Disturbing footage obtained by The Post shows the moment an elderly woman in a
wheelchair was run over and killed by a car while she was crossing the street in
Brooklyn. The 68-year-old woman was pushing her way across Webster Avenue around
1:30 p.m. when a 73-year-old woman driving a Lexus SUV southbound on McDonald
Avenue struck her, according to police. Video of the incident shows the
handicapped victim in a green shirt slowly wheeling herself into the street at
the edge of a crosswalk when a white car accelerates and hits the woman. The car
keeps driving, rolling over on top of the victim before the driver finally stops
in the middle of the intersection with the woman still beneath the car. She
suffered severe trauma to her body, police said. She was taken to Maimonides
Hospital where she died from her injuries. The driver stayed at the scene and
police are treating the crash as an accident at this time, cops said.

POLICE: MAN CAUGHT ON CAMERA DEPOSITING STOLEN CHECKS

NEW YORK - Police say they're searching for a man caught on camera depositing
stolen checks on two different occasions in Washington Heights. Investigators
released a surveillance image of the suspect depositing a check for more than
$35,000 into his account. It happened on June 26 at a bank on 181st
Street. Police said the suspect also deposited a $6,300 check 10 days earlier at
an ATM on Dykman Street. Those checks were reported stolen by a 70-year-old man
who said he never received his insurance money. Anyone with information about
the suspect is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS

NYPD SEEKS PUBLIC’S HELP IN 2020 MURDER CASE

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is renewing their
request for public assistance to locate Darlin Martinez, a 26-year-old man, in
connection with a homicide that took place on Thursday, January 23, 2020. The
incident occurred at 606 West 135th Street around 1:58 PM. Upon responding to a
911 call reporting shots fired, officers found an unconscious 27-year-old man,
identified as Christopher Allen, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Allen
