The CDC Foundation issues requests for proposals (RFP) to sub-grant funds
received for a specific project. These RFPs will seek:

 * providers of products or services required for a specific CDC Foundation
   program with CDC, or
 * eligible nonprofit or governmental organizations that wish to participate in
   a CDC Foundation program addressing a specific health issue.
 * a consultant/independent contractor (i.e. a sole proprietor, company,
   nonprofit, etc.) whose services are retained for a specified activity/project
   during a set time frame. The consultant/independent contractor works
   independently and is paid according to the terms of their written agreement
   with the Foundation. The consultant/independent contractor is not an employee
   of the CDC Foundation.

FEDERAL GRANTS MANAGEMENT TRAINING SERIES:

Interested in learning more about federal grants management? This training
series is a self-paced course for those interesting in applying for federal
funds or those who need a refresher course. In the course, you will learn: 1)
federal grant basics; 2) notice of awards, award budget and subrecipients; and
3) federal grant management. You will also receive a certificate of completion.

This training is a collaboration of CDC’s Center for State, Tribal, Local, and
Territorial Support, the Office of Grant Services, Public Health Foundation and
the CDC Foundation.

Reducing Disparities in Monkeypox Vaccination Project RFA

The CDC Foundation is accepting applications for the Reducing Disparities in
Monkeypox Vaccination Project which will provide mini-grants to community-based
organizations, state, territorial, local or tribal health departments or tribal
organizations to support activities related to the administration of monkeypox
vaccines. Please review the RFA announcement for eligibility and submit
completed application materials by November 23, 2022.

Veteran Suicide Prevention: Demonstration Project Evaluation Instructional
Design Consultant

The CDC Foundation is requesting proposals to identify an instructional design
entity to suport the VSPE project team in soliciting feedback on a series of
tools designed to support veteran serving organizations in designing and
implementing program evaluation. Subsequently, the instructional designer will
provide support in the design, format, and development of an interactive toolkit
informed by the feedback.

Data Modernization Initiative Webinar Support

The CDC Foundation seeks quotes from experienced Contracting
entities/Contractors to provide support for a webinar related to data
modernization. The contract to work on the scope of services outlined is
projected to begin November 21, 2022, and end December 31, 2022. The webinar is
scheduled for December 8, 2022. Some aspects within the Scope of Work are
currently in progress and could be completed prior to November 18, 2022. Scope
of work completion will be assessed by regular check-ins with the project team
to ensure work is conducted. In your budget and budget narrative submission,
please provide a proposed quote for the scope of services outlined below along
with an approximation of hours and hourly rate.

Evaluation of the Data Impact Program

The CDC Foundation seeks applications from a consultant/consultant agency with
experience evaluating global programs. The Data Impact Program within the Data
for Health initiative has provided capacity-building support to low- and
middle-income countries since 2015 and would like to evaluate the program’s
impact. Potential activities to support the development of the report might
include document review, surveys, and interviews. The final deliverable will be
a report document sharing the impact of the work to date and recommendations for
the future.

Take Action: Engaging Young Leaders to Address the Health Impacts of Climate
Change RFP

The CDC Foundation seeks applications from youth-focused organizations
interested in engaging young people ages 15 to 24 years old in raising awareness
of the health impacts of climate change. The CDC Foundation intends to make 11
to 15 awards ranging from $25,000–$50,000 to support young leaders’ actionable
and scalable solutions to accelerating the capacity, preparedness and resiliency
of vulnerable communities across the United States.

Increasing Access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in the United States

The CDC Foundation intends to award up to 10 community-based organizations
(CBOs) ranging from $75,000–$90,000 per funded project to (1) Increase awareness
of WASH challenges and related illnesses within affected communities; (2)
Increase access to safe water and wastewater services in marginalized
communities; and (3) Strengthen relationships between health department, private
sector, and CBOs in order to more effectively address systemic WASH challenges.

Veteran Suicide Prevention: Demonstration Project Evaluation Capacity Building
Grants (Round 2 Re-Issue)

The CDC Foundation seeks and will provide funding and support for up to three
(3) veteran serving organizations (VSOs) that are currently implementing
programs aligned with the Community Integration Model or Connectedness Model for
upstream suicide prevention (described below). The funding will build the
capacity of VSOs to (1) plan and implement formative or process evaluations that
measure how their respective programs can best be or are being implemented; (2)
provide ongoing feedback on technical assistance and toolkit materials as well
as participate in community of practice meetings and other events; and (3)
disseminate and utilize findings to improve programming.
