Recoup and Recover, Inc audits many governmental agencies across the country to
locate sums of money owed to private individuals and companies. If these funds
go unclaimed for too long, they are usually lost to the government agency
holding them.

PAPERWORK AND PAYMENT
Once you have spoken to one of our agents and verbally agreed to let us work
your claim, we will set up a time for you to sign several pages of paperwork to
allow us to get started.
After receiving our paperwork package, we will send a local notary to collect it
from you and overnight it back to our office. Claims are usually processed in
3-4 months depending on the complexity of the case, and your share of the claim,
typically 60-70% of the funds collected, are remitted to you within 30 days of

HOW DID YOU FIND THIS MONEY?
Money found by Recoup and Recover happen in several ways.
1. Clients hire us on a contingency basis (payment only required if we’re
successful) to find assets on their behalf. Information is provided and we
do the research. On more difficult cases, we may employ third party
professionals (i.e. private investigators, typically retired FBI
employees).
2. During our client search we naturally discover other unclaimed funds
belonging to other individuals.
3. Conducting ‘blind’ searches where no client is involved.
CAN I CONDUCT MY OWN SEARCH?
Absolutely. Recoup and Recover offer multiple search options through our
website, including state, federal government, insurance, Department of Labor
(employment related), etc. If you are not able to locate the unclaimed funds we
will be happy to assist on a contingency fee basis.
HOW DID YOU FIND ME?
Many of our clients hire Recoup and Recover to conduct their search as no
payment is ever required up front. We only work on a contingency basis and only
require payment if were successful. If we reached out to you, we discovered
unclaimed funds that might belong to you, and used skip tracing software and/or
public search functions via the Internet.
HOW MUCH IS MY CLAIM? WHERE IS IT BEING HELD?
If you have been contacted by Recoup and Recover, Inc there is greater than a
90% chance you are the individual or heir of unclaimed assets. Unless a
contingency fee is agreed upon, Recoup and Recover Inc. cannot divulge the
amount and location of the unclaimed assets. We provide employment for returning
veterans on a contingency only basis and to divulge this type of information
without proper protection would be counter productive to a for profit business.
DO YOU ONLY WORK ON A FEE CONTINGENCY BASIS?
No. However, 95% of our clients choose the fee contingency option because it
provides nearly zero risk to the claimant. In very rare circumstances we allow
the claimant to receive up to one thousand dollars upfront, paid for by Recoup
and Recover Inc., whether assets are successfully claimed or not. Due to the
financial risk taken on by Recoup and Recover Inc., these cases are decided on a
case by case basis.
WHY SHOULD I USE YOUR COMPANY?
Unless you officially hire Recoup and Recover to assist unclaimed funds there is
absolutely no obligation to us. However, our hope is to consider us as it was
our asset recovery specialists who informed you about the unclaimed funds. In
many cases, attorneys, private investigators, state employees are either too
expensive or have not personal interest in assisting you.
DO YOU NEED ANY PERSONAL OR FINANCIAL INFORMATION FROM ME?
Recoup and Recover, Inc. does not collect any personal or financial information
from our clients until or unless it’s 100% certain the assets in question are
yours. The only time Recoup and Recover Inc. might require this type of
information is if it’s required by the government department holding the assets.
If this is the case the original documentation from that department can
downloaded directly from their site. Recoup and Recover Inc., does not retain
any personal or financial information from our clients.
DO I HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING UP FRONT FOR YOUR SERVICES?
Recoup and Recover, Inc works on a contingency based percentage of the assets
successfully requested. No money, financial or personal information will be
requested to start the process.
IS THERE ANY PAPERWORK I NEED TO SIGN?
Yes, to start the process to officially hire Recoup and Recover Inc., some
paperwork will need to be signed and notarized. Once it’s verbally agreed upon
to start the recovery process, Recoup and Recover, Inc. will set an appointment
for a Notary Public to meet with you locally for approving the necessary
paperwork. Depending on your specific situation and government requirements,
such as proof of identity, other approvals may be needed.
