create and manufacture Air Force and Space Force-branded merchandise. The team works with hundreds of companies from around the world to ensure officially licensed merchandise aligns with Air Force and Space Force core
values.<br>
<br> Our licensing team also works with non-federal entities like civic groups, social groups, city planners, non-profit organizations, and private individuals interested in using DAF intellectual properties beyond retail.
This includes monuments, signage, commemorative gifts and so much more. We strive to build quality relationships with the private sector and citizens.<br>
<br> Additionally, we offer music licensing support and assist in the distribution of works by Air Force bands and ensembles. Our office is uniquely aligned to handle music licensing and music copyright guidance for both
Dept. of Defense and civilian partners. The talented members of the Air Force bands are guided by the mission statement of Honor, Inspire and Connect. Through this lens, our band support manager is able to facilitate most
music related requests.<br>

WHAT WE DO
Welcome to the official website for the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force
Intellectual Property (IP) Management office. Our team serves as the front line
defense for the Department of the Air Force (DAF) brand through vigilant
guarding of our trademarks and logos. We also protect and aid our talented Air
Force bands through licensing music and working with industry stakeholders to
ensure copyright compliance.

BRANDING
U.S. AIR FORCE BANDS
There are a multitude of logos in the DAF’s portfolio. Our licensing team
creates, executes and maintains all the commercial contracts for qualified
companies that create and manufacture Air Force and Space Force-branded
merchandise. The team works with hundreds of companies from around the world to
ensure officially licensed merchandise aligns with Air Force and Space Force
core values.
Our licensing team also works with non-federal entities like civic groups,
social groups, city planners, non-profit organizations, and private individuals
interested in using DAF intellectual properties beyond retail. This includes
monuments, signage, commemorative gifts and so much more. We strive to build
quality relationships with the private sector and citizens.
Additionally, we offer music licensing support and assist in the distribution of
works by Air Force bands and ensembles. Our office is uniquely aligned to handle
music licensing and music copyright guidance for both Dept. of Defense and
civilian partners. The talented members of the Air Force bands are guided by the
mission statement of Honor, Inspire and Connect. Through this lens, our band
support manager is able to facilitate most music related requests.
Furthermore, our offices are equipped to provide feedback and guidance on the
development and socialization of new logos for DAF units and programs. Such
units and programs can and should submit their logos to us so we may ensure they
will not conflict with those of third parties.
