accommodate large boats and house boats up to 50 feet long.

We have Covered Boat Slips, Open Boat Slips, PWC Drive Ups, Houseboat Slips and
Covered Floating Slips for large boats right on Smith Mountain Lake.

THE HUDDLESTON VETERANS MEMORIAL COURTS ARE OPEN!

While there is still more to do, the facility is ready for basketball, street
hockey, roller hockey and pickleball. The facility is open to the entire
community and is free of charge to all participants. In order to schedule the
courts follow the link below and be sure to complete the online liability waiver
form prior to your arrival. We will be taking sign ups for our summer 2024
leagues beginning 1 January 2024 on the HVMC website.

FULL GUIDED CHARTER SERVICE, FISHING FOR THE ULTIMATE STRIPED BASS

Smith Mountain Lake reigns as Virginia's top freshwater Striped Bass fishery and
holds a lake record of 49.4 lbs. for the Striped Bass. Captain Daniel Berthiaume
holds a U.S. Coast Guard License and is fully insured as a fishing guide of
Smith Mountain Lake. Customers will fish off a 25 ft. 2020 Sportsman 247 boat
that accommodates fishing parties up to six. ALL equipment is provided.

Captain Bert fishes with live bait on down rods, planner boards and artificial
lures throughout all of the fishing seasons. As the summer months approach he
also uses umbrella rigs when the striped bass are schooled together.
