H1 Insights, Inc. (with its subsidiaries and affiliates, "H1", "we," or "us") is
creating a healthier future by delivering a platform that connects stakeholders
across the healthcare ecosystem for greater collaboration and discovery. To
facilitate these connections, we collect publicly available business information
about healthcare professionals worldwide. H1 takes your privacy rights
seriously, and we appreciate that individuals care about how their data is
collected and used. This privacy policy ("Privacy Policy) explains more about
who we are; how we collect, share, and use professional information about you;
and how you can exercise your privacy rights.




This Privacy Policy applies to our collection, use, storage, and disclosure of
personal information (a) when you (i) visit or use our website, h1.co (our
"Site"); (ii) receive communications from us, including emails; (iii) visit our
offices; (iv) contribute content to, or comment in any of our public forums
(such as our blog); or (v) sign-up for or use any of our products or services
provided through the Site (we refer to these individuals as "End Users" in this
Privacy Policy); and (b) we receive or acquire about healthcare professionals,
thought leaders, and academics in connection with H1 products and services (we
refer to these individuals as "Experts" in this Privacy Policy).




2. Who We Are




Headquartered in the United States, H1 provides a healthcare intelligence
platform that enables industry professionals to more easily find relevant
clinical and research content, identify collaborators, and engage with
healthcare thought leaders. These thought leaders include doctors, researchers,
clinicians, institutions, and other elements of the healthcare ecosystem.
Individuals and institutions included in our data products can connect with each
other to improve research, promote healthier outcomes, and conduct professional
networking. You can find out more about us and the services we provide here. If
you are a relevant resident in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, H1
Insights, Inc. is the controller of your personal information as described in
this Privacy Policy.




3. Data That We Collect




Data collected about you can vary based upon the choices you make when
interacting with H1; the products you use; your geographic location; your
professional role; and applicable law. Data that we collect includes:




End Users

‍Information We Collect Automatically: As you navigate through and interact with
the Site, our emails, or products and services, we may automatically collect
through common internet technologies certain information about your equipment,
browsing actions, and use patterns, such as cookies and web beacons. This
information also may include details of your visit to the Site, including your
IP address and browser information, location data, logs and other communication
data, and the resources that you access and use on the Site. Collecting this
information helps us improve Site performance and deliver more personalized
content and services by enabling us to estimate our audience’s size, usage
patterns, and constituents upon return visits to the Site.




Information You Provide to Us: H1 collects information that you share with us,
as well. For example, when you navigate the Site, fill out one of our forms,
create an account, purchase our products, contact us, or otherwise communicate
with us, you may choose to provide us with certain personal information. For
security purposes, we may also collect personal information from you if you
visit one of our offices.

Experts



Information We Collect about You from Third-Party Sources: We collect publicly
available business and professional information about you. For example, we
collect information from public databases (such as PubMed); institution,
government, and NGO websites; public news sources; and other readily available
public resources. In addition, we may acquire lawfully obtained proprietary data
from third-party vendors.




The types of personal information we may collect include:




 * Professional details (such as information about your position, title,
   education, degree, practice, patient mix, and specialities);
 * Contact information (such as your name, business email address, postal
   address, phone number, fax number);
 * Content, publications, and media of public record (such as journal
   contributions, research papers or articles you have published or feature in,
   clinical trials where you are named as an investigator, and speeches or
   lectures you have given); 
 * Self-reported demographic information available through public registries
   (U.S. only); and
 * Social media URLs and usernames (only if publicly available).




Information You Provide to Us: We also encourage Experts to actively engage
with, and contribute to, the H1 platform. You can learn more about how to do so
by claiming your profile through H1 Explorer here. When you provide us with
information, we process that which you choose to share, which could include any
of the above-described professional information. In addition, if you sign up for
an H1 account to access and use our Services as an End User, we will collect the
personal information described above in the section titled “End Users.”  If you

We may combine the above described data with information our customers lawfully
provide to us about you to furnish them with more complete datasets. We only use
the information our customers provide us about Experts as a data processor for
their benefit, and pursuant to their instructions.




4. How We Use Data We Collect and the Legal Bases




We collect and process personal information about you for a variety of purposes
and on the legal bases described in this Privacy Policy or disclosed to you
within our products and services, including:




End Users

 * Assessing and Improving Our Site: We may process device and usage data to
   analyze trends and improve the overall user experience as necessary for our
   legitimate interest in administering our Site.
 * Promoting the Security of Our Site: We process your personal information by
   tracking use of our Site and services; creating aggregated, non-personal
   information; verifying accounts and activity; investigating suspicious
   activity; and enforcing our terms and policies, all to the extent this is
   necessary for our legitimate interest in promoting the safety, integrity, and
   security of the Site and its users.
 * Providing Our Site and Services: We may process your personal information to
   perform our contract with you for the use of our Site and services, and to
   fulfill our obligations under applicable terms of use/service. Where we have

   perform obligations of our contract with you or, if we have not contracted

 * Creating Anonymous Statistics: We may aggregate and/or anonymize your

Experts

 * Providing Our Site and Services: If you are an Expert, we use your personal
   information to make datasets available to customers who have purchased a
   license to access our Site and services. Furnishing this information supports
   legitimate interests in scientific and academic research, including
   facilitating connections with Experts for healthcare collaboration, research,
   speaking opportunities, clinical trials, and partnerships; and our customers’
   strategic initiatives in research, sales, and marketing.

As an example, we collect and store publicly available professional information
about any thought leadership, professional accomplishments, scholarly articles,
practice details, and medical developments an Expert is responsible for, as well
as an Expert’s professional contact details. This enables a customer seeking a
healthcare Expert with particular specialties to easily search our database and
find those who are relevant. In turn, this facilitates professional connections
in support of customer scientific projects. For the same purposes, we also make
your information available for direct download by our customers.

 * Complying with Legal Obligations: We may process your personal information to
   cooperate with public authorities, including courts or regulators, to the
   extent required by applicable laws. We also may process or disclose personal
   information to enforce our legal rights, or as is necessary for our
   legitimate interest in protecting against misuse of our Site, protecting
   personal property or safety, pursuing remedies available to us, limiting our
   damages, and complying with judicial proceedings and other valid legal
   proceedings.




5. How We Share Your Personal Information




We may disclose your personal information to the following categories of
recipients:




 * Subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, contractors, service providers, and other
   third-parties we use to support our business or collaborate with, and who are
   bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential
   and use it only for the purposes of providing services for or with us;
 * Government or private entities acting pursuant to court order, law, or legal
   process, including where required to comply with any government or regulatory
   request;
 * Customers who have contracted with H1 to access our database as described in
   this Privacy Policy. If you do not want your information to be shared with
   our customers, you may opt out at any time by emailing us at

 * Buyer or successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, divestiture,
   restructuring,     reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of
   some or all of H1's assets, in which personal information held by H1 about
   the Site users is among the assets transferred; and
 * Any other person or entity upon your consent to disclosure.




In addition, we may disclose your personal information for the following
purposes:




 * To enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements that govern the
   sale or use of our Site, products, and services; and
 * To protect the rights, property, or security of H1, our employees, our users,
   or others.




6. Security




We are serious about your security and take reasonable steps to protect and
secure your personal information from unauthorized access, use, and disclosure.
We have implemented adequate technical and organizational measures to ensure as
much and protect against unauthorized, accidental, or unlawful destruction,
loss, alteration, misuse, disclosure, access, or other unlawful forms of
processing. These security measures have been implemented taking into account
the state of the art of the technology, the cost of implementation, the risks
presented by the processing, and the nature of the personal information, with
particular care for sensitive data.




The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have
given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of
the Site, products, or services, you are responsible for keeping this password
confidential. Please do not share your password with anyone.




Although we take reasonable security measures to protect your personal
information (for example, by using Secure Socket Layer encryption when you
transmit your password), we cannot guarantee the security of your personal
information transmitted to the Site. The transmission of information via the
internet is never 100% secure, and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of
any information you transmit to us. We are not responsible for circumvention of
any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site.

We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing

Where we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal

(for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup
archives), we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from
any further processing until deletion is possible.

other than the country in which you are resident. These countries may have data
protection laws that are different from the laws of your country (and, in some
cases, may not be as protective).




Specifically, our servers are located in the United States, and our group
companies and third-party service providers operate around the world, including
India. This means that when we collect your personal information we may process
it in any of these countries. However, we take steps to ensure your personal
information will continue to be processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy
wherever it is processed.




If you are resident in, or a visitor from, the EEA, United Kingdom, or
Switzerland, we will protect your personal information when it is transferred
outside of such locations by processing it in a territory which the European
Commission has determined provides an adequate level of protection for personal
information; or otherwise implementing appropriate safeguards to protect your
personal information, including through the use of Standard Contractual Clauses;
complying with the Privacy Shield Framework for transfers of personal
information from EEA, UK and Switzerland to US (see below); or another lawful
transfer mechanism approved by the European Commission.

H1 may place and access certain cookies on the computers of Site visitors. H1

efficacy of H1's services.

The Site is not directed to children under the age of thirteen (13). H1 does not
knowingly collect personal information without the consent of a parent or legal

Where we are acting as a controller, and depending on your location and
applicable law, you may have the following rights with regard to the personal
information we control about you:




 * You can access, correct, update, delete, and deactivate your personal
   information;
 * In addition, if you are a resident of, or visitor from, the EEA, you can
   object to processing of your personal information, ask us to restrict
   processing of your personal information or request portability of your
   personal information;
 * You can opt out of receiving marketing communications from us at any time. If
   you do not wish to receive marketing communications from H1, you can opt out
   by sending us an e-mail at inquiries@h1.co. If you choose to no longer
   receive marketing information, we may still communicate with you regarding
   such things as your security updates, product functionality, responses to
   service requests, or for other transactional, non-marketing purposes;
 * Similarly, if we have collected and processed your personal information with
   your consent, then you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing
   your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted
   prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your personal
   information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than
