You might be confronted with crowds, but after such a peaceful ride, you won't
mind. The train has a sleeping car, lounging car, and a dining car to make your
ride as comfortable as possible. You'll get 20-minute stops along the way to
stretch your legs or grab local cuisine. Book the 44-mile Nantahala River Gorge
Excursions for an all-day trip to the Nantahala River Gorge, passing by the
Little Tennessee River and Nantahala Rivers. The 32-mile Tuckasegee River
Excursion winds along the eponymous river, and passes through lush valleys and
old towns. The two-and-a half hour trip to the summit takes place through
Canada's Yukon Territory. It stops at landmarks like Tormented Valley and Bridal
Veil Falls.

A push-pull train is a car that has a driver's cabin so that the locomotive
driver can remotely control it. This eliminates one of the drawbacks of the
locomotive-hauled train, as the locomotive does not need to be moved to the
front of each train that changes direction. A railroad car is a vehicle used for
the haulage of either passengers or freight. The train is mini but mighty,
offering visitors a chance to ride on a 15-inch gauge light railroad on a
three-mile track along the beautiful Dells of the Wisconsin River.
