Medicine & Ethics Go Viral MEDICINE & ETHICS GO VIRAL The Department of Medical Ethics and History of Medicine, Göttingen in cooperation with the Department of Health Sciences, Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. Welcome to our online exhibition! The project ”Medicine & Ethics Go Viral“ seeks to provide a more detailed picture of the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic for contemporary health care ethics. Starting in spring of 2020, we have been conducting expert interviews with leading bioethicists around the globe. The objective is to make an exploratory but sustainable contribution to the ethics of COVID-19 health care. To that end, we want to establish an archive of the global and local challenges, as well as possible solutions in contemporary COVID-19 health care ethics. Here, we present a selection of authentic voices from international bioethicists as video interviews. They are designed to give direct insights into the plethora of problems, dilemmas and challenges given rise to by the COVID-19 crisis. The results of our analysis will also serve as a case study collection for teaching purposes and to inform the public. Furthermore, you are invited to share your own experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic and to be a part of this innovative collection of voices and images depicting the extraordinary times that have changed the lives of billions of people all over the globe. You're welcome to have a look around!
