Providing liquidity on Curve doesn't automatically maximize your yields. After
making a deposit, it is crucial to boost your rewards in order to earn as much
$CRV as possible


ADDITIONAL $CRV TOKENS

The main incentive for boosting is the ability to increase your rewards on
provided liquidity. Boosting allows you to earn up to 2.5x extra on the
liquidity you are providing on Curve.


INCREASED VOTING POWER

A boosted LP token holds twice as much voting power in the Curve DAO as an
unboosted one. Without boosting, your DAO votes face dilution and may become
valueless as the amount of boosted deposits increases.


MINIMIZED RISK

In the case of a hack or exploit, boosted deposits are prioritized for
repayment. In a hypothetical scenario where all liquidity is stolen from a pool,
an unboosted user may only receive 25-50% of their original deposit, while a
boosted user will be fully repaid.
