FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW DO I NAVIGATE THROUGH THE PLATFORM?

The site navigation is located on the left-hand side of the page. You will see
icons labeled Home, Learning, Library, Hot Topics, Games, Achievements, and
More. This menu is the primary way to navigate throughout the platform. Click an
icon to view that page or to access a submenu with additional options.

CAN I USE THE PLATFORM WITHOUT A NETWORK CONNECTION?

No, you must be connected to the internet to use the platform.

CAN I GET EDLOGICS ON MY PHONE?

Yes, The EdLogics Platform works great on mobile devices. You can log in to the
platform through your device's internet browser, like Chrome or Safari. Play
games, watch videos, do activities, and browse our learning pages from your
phone or tablet. Try it out! You can even add EdLogics to your phone's home
screen for quick, easy access.

DOES EDLOGICS HAVE A MOBILE APP?

You won't find EdLogics in any app stores yet, but you can still add it to your
home screen on your smartphone or tablet and access it like you would an app.

HOW DO I LOG OUT?

To log out, click the dropdown under your name in the upper right-hand corner
and select "Log out." Once you have clicked "Log out" you will be taken to the
log in page where you will have to enter your email and password in order to log
in again.

WHAT IF I FORGOT MY PASSWORD?

If you forgot your password, on the login screen you should select "Forgot
Password". Enter your email address and click "SEND PASSWORD RESET EMAIL."
Follow the instructions that are sent to your email to reset your password.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY PASSWORD?

Changing your password is easy!

 1. Click the drop-down arrow next to your name in the upper right-hand side of
    the site header
 2. Click "My Account"
 3. Click "EDIT"
 4. Click the arrow next to "CHANGE PASSWORD"

You will be asked to enter your current password and your new password. For
security purposes, your password must be 8-20 characters and contain one
lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, and one number.



WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO START LEARNING?

The Learning page! From the Learning page, you can access learning modules for a
variety of topics: Chronic Diseases, Common Conditions, Well-Being, Cancers, and
Navigating Healthcare. Take assessments and quizzes, play games, watch videos,
and more!

WHAT DOES THE BASELINE KNOWLEDGE ASSESSMENT MEASURE?

The baseline knowledge assessment allows us to see how much you understand about
a condition before participating in the learning activities. We can then track
and measure your improvement after participating in the course, additional
learning activities and completing the final knowledge assessment.

HOW DO I SEARCH FOR A PARTICULAR TOPIC?

You can type what you are looking for into the search engine found in the upper
right-hand corner of the Learning page or the bottom right-hand corner of the
Library page. You can also use the A-Z search feature found on bottom left-hand
corner of the Library page.

HOW DO I USE THE HEALTH NAVIGATOR?

To use the Health Navigator, select the "Library" tab in the navigation at the
top of the page. In the Health Navigator block, select "Use Health Navigator."
Select gender and age by clicking on either the adolescent or adult male model,
or the adolescent or adult female model. Select a part of the body by clicking
on that area on the model, then click on a filtering option by selecting one of
the blocks labeled "Symptoms, Injuries, Self Care, Diseases, Tests and
Surgeries," or choose to "Show All," then select "Go." Search results will
populate below. Select a topic from the results list.

WHERE CAN I FIND INFORMATION ON PREVENTATIVE HEALTH?

To find information on preventative health, click on the "Library" tab in the
main navigation on the top of the page. Select the center block named,
"Checkups." Choose your gender and age and click "Submit." The results will
provide a list of screenings and tests that are important for your age and
gender.

WHERE CAN I FIND A BODY MASS INDEX (BMI) CALCULATOR?

The Wellness Tools section on the Library page has a BMI calculator as well as
other tools such as a calorie burner calculator, a target heart rate calculator,
desirable body weight calculator, nutritional needs calculator and more! Measure
your BMI or view the other wellness tools today!

HOW DO I FIND INFORMATION ON THE CONDITION OF THE MONTH?

You can view information on the condition of the month by clicking on the "Home"
tab and scrolling down. You will see the block on the right-hand side that
introduces the topic, Select "LEARN MORE".

WHAT GAMES CAN I PLAY?

You can currently play Health Champion, Nutrition Champion, Beat the Clock,
HealthMatch, Drag-N-Drop, Fact or Myth, and This or That.

Using a gameshow-like concept, Health Champion quizzes you on a variety of
general health questions and Nutrition Champion quizzes you on a variety of
nutrition-focused questions. Beat the Clock, HealthMatch, and Drag-N-Drop are
fun games that you can play for a variety of individual topics. Fact or Myth
quizzes you on common misconceptions. This or That presents gives you a scenario
and two choices, and you decide what's best.

See if you can Beat the Clock by matching all of the question and answer cards
before the timer runs out. HealthMatch bumps up the competition by allowing you
to play against other users, earning points for speed and accuracy. Play
Drag-N-Drop by dragging all of the boxes on the left to their matches on the
right. Play Fact or Myth to see if you fall for common health myths. Put your
health smarts to the test with This or That.

To get started, click on the "Games" icon in the navigation menu on the
left-hand side of the page. Check back often as new games are coming soon!



HOW DO I PLAY A GAME ON A TOPIC IMPORTANT TO ME?

To select a game on a topic you're interested in, click on the "Games" tab
first. Scroll down and choose from the topics in the menu. When you click on a
topic you will see all of the games available for that condition. Select one and
begin learning! When you finish playing a game, you will have the option to play
again, visit the Games page, or select a new category.

HOW CAN I IMPROVE MY GAME SCORE?

Try again! You can keep playing games and keep earning points!

HOW DO I EARN POINTS?

You earn points for almost all activities! You rack up points for completing
baseline and final knowledge assessments, courses, games and even completing
registration! You also get 100 points for each Scavenger Hunt item you find!

HOW IS MY GPA CALCULATED AND HOW CAN I IMPROVE IT?

GPA is calculated based on your final knowledge assessment scores. Improve your
GPA by retaking any final knowledge assessments that you did not earn a 100% on.
You can do this from the Achievements page under the Your Final Knowledge
Assessments section.

WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF MY POINTS, BADGES AND HEALTH GPA?

You can earn bonus entries into the HealthScratch™ drawing for increasing your
Health GPA and earning points and badges.

 * 4.0 Health GPA = 20 bonus entries
 * 3.5 – 3.9 Health GPA = 15 bonus entries
 * 3.0 – 3.4 Health GPA = 10 bonus entries
 * 2.5 – 2.9 Health GPA = 5 bonus entries
 * each 2,000 points = 1 bonus entry
 * each badge = 1 bonus entry

Your organization may also have a goal for points and GPA, and sometimes even
each department sets its own goals. The more points you earn and the higher you
raise your GPA, the more you’re helping to drive to reach those organizational
or department goals. Your organization might even have individual goals. These
goals are linked to incentives from your administrator to thank you for your
hard work!



HOW DO I EARN BONUS ENTRIES INTO THE HEALTHSCRATCH™ DRAWING?

You can earn bonus entries into the HealthScratch™ drawing for almost everything
you do on the site!

 * 4.0 Health GPA = 20 bonus entries
 * 3.5 – 3.9 Health GPA = 15 bonus entries
 * 3.0 – 3.4 Health GPA = 10 bonus entries
 * 2.5 – 2.9 Health GPA = 5 bonus entries

HOW DO I WIN THE HEALTHSCRATCH™ DRAWING?

Every activity you complete increases your odds of winning the HealthScratch™
drawing. Earn as many entries as you can before each drawing to increase your
odds of winning. The frequency of the drawings, the number of winners, the
prize(s)/prize amount(s), and eligibility requirements are determined by your
program sponsor. In order to be eligible for a given HealthScratch™ drawing, you
must have at least one entry and you must have logged in at least once in the
last 30 days. At the time of the drawing, the winner(s) is/are chosen out of a
pool of all eligible participants through a random, automated selection process.

HOW CAN I VIEW MY PROGRESS?

To see your progress, click on the "Achievements" tab from the main navigation
at the top of the page. You will be able to see your scores on individual
activities and assessments as well as your overall points total and GPA. On the
achievements page you can also select to retake any final knowledge assessment
that you earned less than 100% on.

WHAT DO THE BADGES REPRESENT AND HOW DO YOU EARN THEM?

The badges represent certain milestones. The badges shown in color are unlocked,
and those shown in grey are still locked and ready to be unlocked. Click on each
badge to learn more about how to unlock them and how close you are to unlocking
them!

WHAT IS THE SCAVENGER HUNT AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

Each month you have the chance to complete a Scavenger Hunt by collecting fruits
and vegetables that are hidden throughout the site.

 * Earn 100 points for every one you find
 * Find 5 of the same kind to get one HealthScratch™ bonus entry
 * Find all 25 to get 10 HealthScratch™ bonus entries
