It seeks to stimulate public interest in, and care for, the beauty, history and character of Twickenham and its surroundings. COMING EVENTS FOR 2023: TWICKENHAM SOCIETY TALKS: All meetings take place in the Twickenham Club, 7 Church Street, Twickenham, at 7.30 p.m. (Members Free, Guests £4 – Annual Subscription £10) Tuesday, 20th June: "Beer and Celebrities - A Marble Hill story in postcards" followed by the AGM An illistrated talk by Alan Winter Tuesday, 26th September: "An update on Marble Hill House" An illustrated talk by English Heritage Tuesday, 28th November: "The Viner-Brady family of Twickenham" An illustrated talk by Celia Holman Other "Members Only" meetings during the year will be added if there are important local issues to discuss.
