WHAT WE CAN TELL YOU… OUR TRAVELS SO FAR

For 12 months, from January 2017 we set off on an adventure, to travel through
Southeast Asia for a whole year, with our three young kids… They were 10, 8, and
4 at the beginning of our trip, what an amazing trip, an amazing part of the
world!  There is so much we want to share!

We want to share our experiences in the hope that maybe it can help and maybe
inspire others on their adventures.  It’s also sharing the stories of fellow
travellers on our journey, and in the online community.

It can sometimes be overwhelming travelling through new places, different
cultures, being unsure at moments whether we have made the right move… To
stretch ourselves – and our comfort zones – is to live!  Our three young
children have also been on a journey inward and outward, and experienced the
fun, the bumps, and at times anxiety which comes with life on the road in Asia.

We are an ordinary, suburban family with three young kids from Melbourne,
Australia who had decided to do something a little different.  We decided to
take our three children out of school for 12 months and explore parts of the
