CLIMATE WEEK NYC

Dear Sadaharu,

Join us at Climate Week NYC virtually, this September. It comes at a time when
global climate issues, security and prosperity have never been more
interlinked.

This unique, high-level moment brings together leaders from business, government
and the climate sector, alongside the UN General Assembly. Speakers are set to
include heads of state, CEOs, governors and representatives of major global
institutions, once again.

This invitation for virtual attendance is non-transferable and complementary.
Demand far exceeds capacity every year so please confirm your place now.

There will be a wide range of sessions across the week being streamed live from
New York, kicking off with the Climate Week NYC Opening Ceremony on Monday,
September 19. You'll have the chance to tune in alongside heads of state,
multinational CEOs and other leaders from government and civil society. You'll
hear from our speakers about their outlook on critical, global trends and how we
should tackle the greatest barriers to change.

Climate Week NYC is the place for global businesses, governments and civil
society leaders to showcase leadership – and most importantly – show the world
how they are ‘Getting it Done’.

Here's a snapshot of what's to come at the Opening Ceremony:

State of the climate: climate in the geopolitical context of today

9:00am – 10:00am ET
 * Can we keep the promise of Paris, prosperity and peace alive?
 * Can we stop global security and energy concerns being used against the net
   zero transition?
 * How do we tackle interlinked risks of conflict, energy and food security
   together?

The cold truths for a warming world: what’s stopping us from ‘Getting It Done’?

10:30am – 11:30am ET
 * What, how and who is preventing us from making progress?
 * Is accountability now more important than commitments?
 * Will inaction become our greatest barrier?

Putting equity back into our economy: making the green economy work for everyone

12:00pm – 1:00pm ET
 * With more green money than ever, is it going to the right places?
 * Are our global frameworks fit for purpose to create opportunities for
   everyone?
 * Does climate finance need to fundamentally change?
